Connectivity analysis of passive cluster with high stability in vehicular wireless network

open access: yesTongxin xuebao, 2016
A passive cluster model with the maximum lifetime was proposed for vehicle to vehicle communication based on the relative velocity. The cluster head was elected based on the average relative velocity and the neighbor list.

Self-Configuration Management towards Fix-Distributed Byzantine Sensors for Clustering Schemes in Wireless Sensor Networks

open access: yesJournal of Sensor and Actuator Networks, 2023
To avoid overloading a network, it is critical to continuously monitor the natural environment and disseminate data streams in synchronization. Based on self-maintaining technology, this study presents a technique called self-configuration management ...

Cell‐cycle‐specific lesion evolution rather than inhibition of double‐strand‐break repair underpins cisplatin radiosensitization

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
We analyze cisplatin–DNA adducts (CDAs) and double‐strand breaks (DSBs) in a cell‐cycle‐dependent manner. We find that CDAs form similarly across all cell cycle phases. DSBs arise only in S‐phase. CDAs might not directly impair DSB repair, but S‐phase DSB lesions evolve in the presence of CDAs and disrupt repair in G2, also causing radiosensitization ...

Hydrodynamic simulations of merging clusters of galaxies [PDF]

open access: yes, 2001
We present the results of high-resolution AP3M+SPH simulations of merging clusters of galaxies. We find that the compression and shocking of the core gas during a merger can lead to large increases in bolometric X-ray luminosities and emission-weighted ...

An energy-efficient cluster head selection in wireless sensor network using grey wolf optimization algorithm

open access: yesTELKOMNIKA (Telecommunication Computing Electronics and Control), 2020
Clustering is considered as one of the most prominent solutions to preserve theenergy in the wireless sensor networks. However, for optimal clustering, anenergy efficient cluster head selection is quite important.

Analysing the significance of small conformational changes and low occupancy states in serial crystallographic data

open access: yesFEBS Open Bio, EarlyView.
This protocol paper outlines methods to establish the success of a time‐resolved serial crystallographic experiment, by means of statistical analysis of timepoint data in reciprocal space and models in real space. We show how to amplify the signal from excited states to visualise structural changes in successful experiments.
