Rab14 regulates the transport of human papillomavirus to the trans‐Golgi network for infectious cell entry

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
This study reveals that the small GTPase Rab14 is necessary for human papillomavirus (HPV) infection and plays an essential role in the transport of virions to the trans‐Golgi network (TGN). HPV in the early endosome (EE), which harbors GTP‐bound Rab14, is transported to the TGN through the switch of Rab14 from its GTP‐bound to GDP‐bound form.

Clustering and Closure Coefficient Based on k-CT Components

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Real-world networks contain many cliques since they are usually built from them. The analysis that goes behind the cliques is fundamental because it discovers the real structure of the network. This article proposed new high-order closed trail clustering

Cluster automorphism groups of cluster algebras with coefficients [PDF]

open access: yesScience China Mathematics, 2016
We study the cluster automorphism group of a skew-symmetric cluster algebra with geometric coefficients. For this, we introduce the notion of gluing free cluster algebra, and show that under a weak condition the cluster automorphism group of a gluing free cluster algebra is a subgroup of the cluster automorphism group of its principal part cluster ...

Average clustering coefficient versus time.

open access: yes, 2014
We may see the average clustering coefficient for MeSH global (GN) networks, compared to random Erdös-Rényi (ER) and to small-world Watts-Strogatz (WS) networks with the same parameters as these. We can notice that MeSH global networks are not similar to

Modulation of Homer1 EVH1 domain internal dynamics by putative autism‐associated mutations

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
The putative autism‐associated M65I and S97L variants of the EVH1 domain of the postsynaptic scaffold protein Homer1 do not exhibit substantial changes in their overall structure or partner binding. Both of them, but especially the M65I variant, show altered internal dynamics relative to the wild‐type domain on the μs‐ms timescale, indicated by the ...

Curvature of Indoor Sensor Network: Clustering Coefficient

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2009
We investigate the geometric properties of the communication graph in realistic low-power wireless networks. In particular, we explore the concept of the curvature of a wireless network via the clustering coefficient. Clustering coefficient analysis is

An unexpected alternative viologen electron mediator site in tungsten‐containing formate dehydrogenase

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
An unexpected alternative interaction site for ethyl viologen was identified in formate dehydrogenase 1 from Methylorubrum extorquens. Combined mutagenesis, kinetic analysis, and docking revealed that aromatic residues near an iron–sulfur cluster enable flavin mononucleotide‐independent electron transfer, offering a framework for engineering improved ...

Approximating clustering coefficient and transitivity

open access: yes, 2004
Since its introduction in the year 1998 by Watts and Strogatz, the clustering coefficient has become a frequently used tool for analyzing graphs. In 2002 the transitivity was proposed by Newman, Watts and Strogatz as an alternative to the clustering ...

Network divergence analysis identifies adaptive gene modules and two orthogonal vulnerability axes in pancreatic cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.
