ESG Rating Disagreement and the Size of the Investable Universe Under ESG Consensus Rules

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Using ESG scores of listed US companies from Refinitiv, ESG Book, MSCI, Moody's ESG, Bloomberg, and Sustainalytics for the period 2003–2022, we examine the extent of ESG rating disagreement and how it shapes the investable universe under ESG consensus rules.

Bridging Theory and Prediction: A Hybrid SEM and Machine Learning Approach to Optimize Lean Construction for Megaproject Sustainability in China

open access: yesCorporate Social Responsibility and Environmental Management, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Construction megaprojects, large‐scale, complex, and capital‐intensive, are particularly prone to inefficiencies, cost overruns, delays, and environmental degradation due to fragmented workflows, stakeholder misalignment, and resource intensity.

Sustainable Upcycling of Office Waste Paper Into Cobalt/Carbon Aerogels for Highly Efficient Microwave Absorption

open access: yesElectron, EarlyView.
Co/C aerogels (Co/CAs) are successfully fabricated with office waste paper (OWP) as the raw material by loading ZIF‐67 crystals. The optimal sample exhibited an effective absorption bandwidth of 5.6 GHz, which outperforms many biomass‐derived microwave absorbing materials.

Mitigation of Through-Wall Distortions of Frontal Radar Images using Denoising Autoencoders

open access: yes, 2019
Radar images of humans and other concealed objects are considerably distorted by attenuation, refraction and multipath clutter in indoor through-wall environments.

A Deep Neural Network Based on Two‐Stage Training for Estimating Heart Rate Variability From Camera Videos

open access: yesHealth Care Science, EarlyView.
Heart Rate Variability Estimation from Camera Videos ABSTRACT Background Studies have shown that heart rate variability (HRV) is a predictor of the prognosis of cardiovascular diseases. Contact heartbeat monitoring equipment is widely used, especially in hospitals, and benefits from the rapidity and accuracy of the detection of physiological health ...

Deep learning–driven chromatic X‐ray imaging based on multicolor halide scintillation film stacks for quantitative densitometry

open access: yesInformation &Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The vapor‐deposited stacking strategy for multicolor halide scintillation films has been developed for chromatic X‐ray imaging, while enabling the systematic curation of a materials genome database. The effectiveness has been demonstrated through segmentation of complex circuit boards and 3D reconstruction of material density distributions.

The Aesthetics of Junkyards and Roadside Clutter

open access: yesContemporary Aesthetics, 2008
A little more than thirty years ago, Allen Carlson argued that although the concept of "Camp" would seem to allow for the aesthetic redemption of roadside clutter and junkyards, it does not.[1] He opposes those who claim that if one takes the right ...

Alexithymia in Schizophrenia and Psychosis Vulnerability: A Systematic Review and Meta‐Analysis

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Psychology, Volume 81, Issue 6, Page 410-424, June 2025.
ABSTRACT Aims Disturbances involving impairments in experience and expression of affect are frequently identified in schizophrenia samples. Alexithymia underlies cognitive impairments in identification and expression of affect, further implicated in affect dysregulation.

Comparison of the SMI Technique and CEUS for the Assessment of Microvasculature in Leiomyosarcoma and Its Clinical Value for Application

open access: yesJournal of Clinical Ultrasound, EarlyView.
SMI and CEUS can clearly reflect the microvascular situation in fibroids and effectively guide the clinical treatment of patients with uterine fibroids, but the effect of SMI is better than that of CEUS in guiding the treatment of patients, which can provide a reference for the selection of clinical treatment programs.

Examining early inhibitory control and emotion regulation as predictors of childhood internalizing and externalizing problems: A longitudinal study

open access: yesJCPP Advances, EarlyView.
In a longitudinal sample (n = 94), we tested links between inhibitory control at age 4, emotion regulation (ER) at age 6, and internalizing (INT) and externalizing (EXT) problems at ages 9–10. Early inhibitory control did not predict ER or later INT/EXT (no mediation), whereas ER at 6 showed prospective associations with both outcomes.
