Efficacy of the Intervention Against the Stigmatization of Men With Eating Disorders in Primary Healthcare (iSMEsH): Results From a Randomized Waitlist‐Controlled Study

open access: yesInternational Journal of Eating Disorders, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Objective Eating disorders (EDs) in men are underdiagnosed and undertreated, partly due to stigma hindering help‐seeking. This randomized waitlist‐controlled study tested the efficacy of the iSMEsH online anti‐stigma intervention targeting German general practitioners (GPs) and medical students.

Transendocardial injection of expanded autologous CD34+ cells after myocardial infarction: Design of the EXCELLENT trial

open access: yesESC Heart Failure, Volume 12, Issue 2, Page 1455-1463, April 2025.
Abstract Aims The extent of irreversible cardiomyocyte necrosis after acute myocardial infarction (AMI) is a major determinant of residual left ventricular (LV) function and clinical outcome. Cell therapy based on CD34+ cells has emerged as an option to help repair the myocardium and to improve outcomes.

Layer Geometry Modulation in Cu(II) Coordination Networks Based on Disubstituted Bis(imidazolyl)benzene Ligands

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Inorganic Chemistry, EarlyView.
Cu(II)‐based two‐dimensional coordination networks constructed from bis(imidazolyl)benzene ligands show how subtle changes in counteranion identity modulate layer geometry, stacking, and stability. Single‐crystal structures combined with bulk syntheses reveal distinct packing efficiencies and framework responses to humidity, vacuum, and temperature for

Virtual Patient Simulation in Continuing Education: Improving the Use of Guideline-Directed Care in Venous Thromboembolism Treatment

open access: yesJournal of European CME, 2020
Results of a CME-certified activity completed by a total of 986 cardiologists and 783 haematologists-oncologists (haem-oncs) from around the world were examined to determine whether virtual patient simulation could improve decision-making and performance

Light‐Modulated Exchange Bias in Multiferroic Heterostructures

open access: yesElectron, EarlyView.
In this article, exchange bias and magnetization are modulated with visible light at room temperature in PMN‐PZT/FeGa/IrMn multiferroic heterostructures. Photostrictive effect is the main mechanism leading to the modulation of magnetic anisotropy and interfacial exchange bias coupling between the ferromagnetic and antiferromagnetic layers.

Comparison of ultraviolet C light and isopropyl alcohol for the disinfection of cellular phones in a paediatric intensive care unit setting

open access: yesSouth African Medical Journal
Background. A considerable proportion of cellular phones (cell phones) used by healthcare workers (HCWs) have been shown to be contaminated with pathogenic micro-organisms, making these devices reservoirs to infect susceptible patients. Although
