Recombinant Monoclonal Antibodies for Detecting the Tubulin Post‐Translational Modifications Glutamylation and Lysine‐40 Acetylation

open access: yesCytoskeleton, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Post‐translational modifications (PTMs) to tubulin subunits in microtubule filaments are thought to comprise a component of the tubulin code that specifies microtubule functions in cell physiology and animal development. Acetylation of Lysine‐40 (K40) on α‐tubulin (αTub‐K40ac) and glutamylation of both α‐ and β‐tubulin are two tubulin PTMs of ...

In Vivo Cytoskeletal AMPA Receptor Transport Imaging in C. elegans

open access: yesCytoskeleton, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Long‐distance intracellular transport of ionotropic glutamate receptors (iGluRs) is essential for proper excitatory synaptic function underlying learning and memory. Many neuropsychiatric and neurodegenerative conditions have abnormal iGluR transport and trafficking, leading to an intense interest in the mechanisms and factors regulating these

Label‐Free Holographic Imaging Flow Cytometry With Deep‐Learning‐Based Detection and Classification of Thousands of Cells Per Second

open access: yesCytometry Part A, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT We present a new end‐to‐end neural network approach for real‐time biological cell detection and classification via label‐free quantitative imaging flow cytometry based on digital holography, offering a comprehensive representation of cellular structures without the need for chemical cell staining. In contrast to previous studies, our method is

Core‐shell structure induced surface reconstruction of PbS quantum dots toward high‐detectivity short‐wave infrared photodetectors

open access: yesInfoScience, EarlyView.
We present a core‐shell structure‐induced surface reconstruction treatment for PbS quantum dots (QDs). Highly detective photodetectors and imagers in the short‐wave infrared region are demonstrated based on the surface‐reconstructed QDs with reduced dark current density and improved QD stacking configuration, as shown by grazing‐incidence small‐angle X‐

Field‐free programmable bipolar magnetic heterostructures for neuromorphic computing

open access: yesInfoMat, EarlyView.
Neuromorphic computing mimics the brain's efficiency, yet typical memristors lack biological synapses' dual signal control. We introduce a magnetic memristor enabling bidirectional, multi‐state modulation without external fields, validated in image feature extraction and neural clustering.

Development of Selective Plane Illumination Surface Enhanced Raman Scattering Spectral Microscopy for Improved Cellular Imaging

open access: yesJournal of Raman Spectroscopy, EarlyView.
Selective plane illumination (SPI) is combined with SERS spectral imaging to reduce background, improve image contrast, and enable improved spectroscopy from molecules on the surface of nanoparticles. This approach provides improved imaging and spectroscopy from nanoparticles in complex environments, such as biological cells.
