An active balun for high-CMRR IC design [PDF]
A circuit topology that provides large bandwidth single-ended to differential conversion is presented. The proposed cell is based on a differential pair where feedback on common mode signal provides about 6 dB conversion gain increase, together with attenuation of common mode signal.

Low Noise Balanced Homodyne Detector for Quantum Noise Measurement
The research of quantum noise in the interaction of laser and atoms plays a critical role in quantum optical experiments. The measurement of quantum noise is mainly based on the balanced homodyne detection method.

±0.3V Bulk-Driven Fully Differential Buffer with High Figures of Merit
A high performance bulk-driven rail-to-rail fully differential buffer operating from ±0.3V supplies in 180 nm CMOS technology is reported. It has a differential–difference input stage and common mode feedback circuits implemented with no-tail, high CMRR ...

Current-feedback operational amplifier with high CMRR
A novel current-feedback operational amplifier, the input stage of which is based on the design and use in a repeated pattern of a current-transfer cell, exhibits performance characteristics superior to those obtained with an established input architecture: in particular, the common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) is 105 dB, and the DC offset voltage less ...

CMRR-Bandwidth Extension Technique for CMOS Differential Amplifiers [PDF]
An exemplary design demonstrates how to extend the common-mode rejection ratio (CMRR) bandwidth of a CMOS differential amplifier. The design presented uses MOSFETs with a channel length of 180nm. A novel circuit technique is employed that partially compensates for the output capacitance of the tail current sink, thereby more than quadrupling the CMRR ...

High CMRR CMOS current operational amplifier
A CMOS realisation of a current operational amplifier operating under 3 V supply voltage is presented. The proposed implementation provides very high common-mode rejection. Results of HSPICE simulation show a high open loop current gain of 67 dB, a gain-bandwidth product of ~100 MHz and a common-mode rejection ratio of 150 dB.

CMRR analysis of instrumentation amplifiers
A set of the simple and practical expressions for the CMRR of instrumentation amplifiers (IAs) based on 2, 3 and 4 opamps is given. These equations take into account not only mismatch of determined resistors but also the limited value of the CMRR of op-amps used. The derived equations are very useful for tolerance analysis which is shown on the example

Low-voltage high CMRR OTA for electrophysiological measurements [PDF]
With the advent of miniaturised sensors for various engineering and medical applications there is an increased demand of low-power, low-voltage analog building blocks like opamps and OTAs. Degradation of certain amplifier characteristics with supply voltage is a major concern for low-voltage design and often poses contradictory requirement.

ABSTRACT Purpose Echo‐Planar Imaging (EPI) is central to fMRI, diffusion MRI, and many dynamic clinical applications, yet rapid gradient switching induces strong mechanical vibrations, generates acoustic noise, and contributes to ghosting artifacts—effects that intensify at ultra‐high fields.
