Problem‐Solving Strategies for Creativity in Business Model Design: A Configurational Study

open access: yesJournal of Management Studies, EarlyView.
Abstract We study how individuals develop mental representations of how a business may create and capture value. Specifically, we analyse how different configurations of problem‐solving strategies lead to creative business models. We observe the design process of 101 experienced business‐model designers in real time, using think‐alouds.

A multi‐omics investigation of sarcopenia and frailty: Integrating genomic, epigenomic and telomere length data

open access: yesExperimental Physiology, EarlyView.
Abstract Sarcopenia and frailty are complex geriatric syndromes influenced by a combination of genetic and environmental factors. Recent studies suggest that specific genetic variants, DNA methylation patterns and shortened telomeres are associated with age‐related diseases and might contribute to the development of both sarcopenia and frailty. In this

Computationally and Memory Efficient Graph Neural Network for Emulating Storm Surge Inundation State Over Extended Geospatial Domains

open access: yesJournal of Geophysical Research: Machine Learning and Computation, Volume 3, Issue 2, April 2026.
Abstract Data‐driven emulation of storm surges has emerged as a valuable tool for supporting regional coastal risk assessment. Surrogate models for such applications are developed using data sets of surge predictions for synthetic storms across a large number of locations, corresponding to the nodes of the utilized numerical model used. Recent work has

Artificial Symbiosis for Bulk Production of Bacterial Cellulose Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, Volume 38, Issue 13, 3 March 2026.
Co‐cultivation of the cellulose‐producing bacterium with the microalga enables bulk formation of bacterial cellulose under static incubation, with photosynthetically active oxygen‐generating sites throughout the medium. This symbiotic platform supports 3D cellulosic constructs with geometries dictated by the vessel shape.
