Here, we demonstrate that bear damages in temperate ecosystems increase in years of beechnut crop failure. Our study provides empirical evidence on how bottom‐up effects of resource pulses, such as masting, shape the interactions between wildlife and humans.

Methods. In 175 singleton pregnancies with pPROM, 95 cases of RDS (54,29%) were diagnosed.
