Modeling of co-channel interference in bluetooth low energy based on measurement data

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Wireless Communications and Networking, 2021
The intense use of the 2.4 GHz ISM band by several wireless technologies has resulted in increased co-channel interference between networks operating in this frequency band.

Reconstructing enzyme evolution by protein engineering

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Natural enzyme evolution can be retraced by protein engineering methods such as directed evolution, rational design, and ancestral sequence reconstruction. These approaches reveal how enzymes emerged from ligand‐binding scaffolds, developed varying substrate preferences, formed oligomeric complexes, adapted to environmental changes, and evolved novel ...

Engineered extracellular vesicles enriched with the miR‐214/199a cluster enhance the efficacy of chemotherapy in ovarian cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...

Deciphering transcriptional plasticity in pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma reveals alterations in sensory neuron innervation

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pancreatic sensory neurons innervating healthy and PDAC tissue were retrogradely labeled and profiled by single‐cell RNA sequencing. Tumor‐associated innervation showed a dominant neurofilament‐positive subtype, altered mitochondrial gene signatures, and reduced non‐peptidergic neurons.

Research on broadcast and TV system interference of 700 MHz band in 5G network

open access: yesDianxin kexue, 2022
There is a risk of co-channel interference from broadcast TV systems in the operation of 5G networks in the 700 MHz band, which seriously affects the network performance.Firstly, from the frequency configuration of broadcast TV system, the principle of ...

Study on decoupled filter based co-channel interference cancellation receiver

open access: yes上海师范大学学报. 自然科学版, 2015
For the inter-cell co-channel interference problems in cellular networks, the paper studies the decoupled filter aiming at the cancellation of co-channel interference. The filter is imposed on whitening the interference and the noise, with the remained ...

Spatial Spectrum Estimation of Co-Channel Direct Signal in Passive Radar Based on Coprime Array

open access: yesRemote Sensing, 2022
The received signal of passive radar based on mobile communication signals contains direct and multipath interference (DMI) signals from multiple co-channel base stations (CCBS). The direct signal spatial spectrum of each CCBS should be obtained first to

Hijacking emergency granulopoiesis: Neutrophil ontogeny and reprogramming in cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Neutrophils are highly plastic innate immune cells; their functions in cancer extend beyond the tumour microenvironment. This Review summarises current understanding of neutrophil maturation and heterogeneity and highlights tumour‐induced granulopoiesis as a systemic programme that expands immature, immunosuppressive neutrophils via tumour‐derived ...

An Effective Channel Allocation Scheme to Reduce Co-Channel and Adjacent Channel Interference for WMN Backhaul [PDF]

open access: yesMehran University Research Journal of Engineering and Technology, 2016
Two folded work presents channel allocation scheme sustaining channel orthogonality and channel spacing to reduce CCI (Co-Channel Interference) and ACI (Adjacent Channel Interference) for inter flow of an intra-flow link.

Clinical performance of the urine‐based TERT promoter AbsoluteQ Digital PCR for non‐invasive detection of bladder cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
A urine‐based digital PCR assay targeting two hotspot TERT promoter variants detected bladder cancer with high sensitivity and no false positives in this case–control cohort. The streamlined AbsoluteQ workflow outperformed Sanger sequencing and supports non‐invasive molecular testing for bladder cancer detection.
