New Interference Estimation for Power Control in Wireless Networks
This paper proposes new interference estimation for power control in broadband wireless data networks. The proposed approach gives the filtered interference power in real-time removing undesired effects such as the fluctuation of interference power and ...

Early‐life exposure to a high‐fat diet altered intact Achilles tendons in rat offspring, making them thinner, stiffer, and molecularly distinct even without injury. These findings suggest that developmental high‐fat diet exposure may impair tendon quality and increase susceptibility to mechanical overload or tendon injury later in life.

Succesive Co-Channel Interference Cancellation
In this work, a successive four-stage interference cancellation model to unwrap and remove two co-channel interference signals is introduced and successfully tested. This model utilizes the second order statistics of the co-channel interference signals in an interference limited communication environment for interference cancelation.

Interference Mitigation by Practical Transmit Beamforming Methods in Closed Femtocells
We present an analysis of a femtocellular communications network and the impact of cochannel interference on link performance. Furthermore, we propose a method whereby user terminals can maintain a controlonly connection to an adjacent femtocell for ...

Efficient Interference Management Design for NTN/TN Co-Existence in HAP-Based 6G Networks
High-altitude platforms (HAPs) are critical for 6th generation (6G) networks, particularly in autonomous flying ad-hoc networks (FANETs). However, their extensive coverage areas cause severe co-channel interference (CCI) when overlapping with terrestrial

Hydrostatic pressure activates HIF‐1α via β‐catenin to promote stemness in breast cancer cells
To mimic the elevated intestinal fluid pressure in breast cancers, we loaded human breast cancer cells (MCF‐7, MDA‐MB‐453, and BT‐474) to 50 mmHg hydrostatic pressure. Hydrostatic pressure exposure upregulated HIF‐1α and induced stemness in MCF‐7 and BT‐474 cells.

Channel Estimation in OFDM Systems with Strong Interference
In this paper, we investigate channel estimation algorithms in an OFDM system which is exposed to pulsed interference. It will be examined how the interference affects the performance of the channel estimation and how the channel estimation can be ...
