Multi-stream distributed co-phasing: Design and analysis
2016 IEEE 17th International Workshop on Signal Processing Advances in Wireless Communications (SPAWC), 2016In this paper, we develop and analyze a distributed co-phasing technique for physical layer fusion of common data across a wireless sensor network using multi stream communication, when the fusion center (FC) is equipped with multiple receive antennas.

Generalized co-phasing for multiple transmit and receive antennas
IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, 2009We propose and study a class of transmit beamforming techniques for systems with multiple transmit and multiple receive antennas with a per-antenna transmit power constraint. The per-antenna transmit power constraint is more realistic than the widely used total (across all transmit antennas) power constraint, since in practice each transmit antenna is ...

Design and analysis of distributed co-phasing with arbitrary constellations
2013 IEEE International Conference on Communications (ICC), 2013In this paper, we design and analyze pilot-assisted Distributed Co-Phasing (DCP) schemes for information fusion in a wireless sensor network. First, using a cutoff rate analysis, we show that higher order constellations significantly improve the throughput performance of DCP in comparison with the binary constellation considered in past work.

Co-phase power supply system for HSR
2014 International Power Electronics Conference (IPEC-Hiroshima 2014 - ECCE ASIA), 2014Poor power quality and phase splitting are the main issues in electric railway. Co-phase traction power supply system is adopted in electrified railway for active power balance, reactive power compensation and harmonic filter. The research development and application of co-phase traction power supply system in China are depicted detailed in this paper.

Co-phase transmission diversity for distributed antenna
2005 IEEE Antennas and Propagation Society International Symposium, 2005Due to the single element nature of the antenna at the mobile station, the traditional downlink diversity schemes of distributed antennas, such as simulcast or multipath antenna diversity, cannot exploit the advantage of distributed antennas as much as the uplink.

A co-phasing technique for segmented mirror telescopes
SPIE Proceedings, 2015In the new era of astronomy, we go for bigger telescopes having segmented primary and secondary mirrors. But once segmentation is done, aligning and phasing mirror segments so that altogether they act like a monolithic mirror of a large diameter, becomes critical.

Polytypism in a decagonal quasicrystalline Al–Co phase
Journal of Applied Crystallography, 1989A decagonal quasicrystalline phase has been produced in rapidly solidified binary Al–14 to 25 at.% Co and ternary Al–20 at.% Co–5 at.% Si alloys. Observation of periodicity along one of the directions in the electron diffraction patterns has confirmed the decagonal nature of the phase.

PCA-based Dispersed Fringe Co-phasing Method
Frontiers in Optics + Laser Science 2023 (FiO, LS), 2023Dispersed fringe sensing (DFS) is a promising co-phasing approach for a segmented telescope. We proposed a novel piston error extraction method based on principal component analysis (PCA) technology and demonstrated its performance with simulations.

Signal spatial filtering for co-phasing in seeing-limited conditions
Optics Letters, 2007We present the results of the co-phasing closed loop performed with a pyramid wavefront sensor for what we believe to be the first time in the presence of emulated atmospheric disturbance. The performance of the co-phasing loop is significantly improved by applying two spatial filters in the sensor signal space.

Pilot-Assisted Distributed Co-Phasing for Wireless Sensor Networks
2009 6th Annual IEEE Communications Society Conference on Sensor, Mesh and Ad Hoc Communications and Networks, 2009This paper addresses the design and analysis of practical distributed beamforming techniques for the uplink communication over a wireless sensor network. Since the conventional frequency-division duplexing techniques require a large feedback overhead, we focus on a time-division duplexing approach, and exploit the channel reciprocity to reduce the ...
