Hydrophobic perfluoroalkane modified metal‐organic frameworks for the enhanced electrocatalytic reduction of CO2

open access: yesSmartMat, Volume 3, Issue 1, Page 163-172, March 2022., 2022
The local environment of active centers plays a vital role in the CO2 electroreduction reactions (CO2RR). Hydrophobic metal‐organic framework, Fn‐PCN‐222(Fe), were prepared by post‐modification of perfluoroalkyl chains and used for CO2RR. Compared with the pristine PCN‐222(Fe), the CO faradic efficiency of Fn‐PCN‐222(Fe) is significantly improved ...

Low Temperature Sunlight‐Powered Reduction of CO2 to CO Using a Plasmonic Au/TiO2 Nanocatalyst

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 13, Issue 21, Page 4507-4513, November 8, 2021., 2021
Reverse water‐gas shift: This study reports a Au/TiO2 catalyst which promotes the rWGS reaction under mildly concentrated solar irradiation at ambient temperature. A quantum efficiency of 4.7 % was reached, with a selectivity to CO of 98 %. This activity is achieved due to a plasmonic photothermal effect from the Au nanoparticles, while the high ...

Anthropogenic CO2 Emissions Changes in an Urban Area of Tokyo, Japan, Due to the COVID‐19 Pandemic: A Case Study During the State of Emergency in April–May 2020

open access: yesGeophysical Research Letters, Volume 48, Issue 15, August 2021., 2021
Abstract The influence of the COVID‐19 pandemic on urban CO2 emissions was investigated using atmospheric observations in the residential area (approximately 4 × 105 m2) in Tokyo, Japan. The measured CO2 flux decreased by 20% ± 3% in April–May 2020 compared to the same period during the past few years.

Contagious Synchronization and Endogenous Network Formation in Financial Networks [PDF]

open access: yes, 2014
When banks choose similar investment strategies the financial system becomes vulnerable to common shocks. We model a simple financial system in which banks decide about their investment strategy based on a private belief about the state of the world and ...

Detection and Analysis of CO, CO2 Exhaust Emissions in Two-Wheeled Motorized Vehicles

open access: yesProtek: Jurnal Ilmiah Teknik Elektro, 2023
CO and CO2 are some of the exhaust gases resulting from the combustion of motor vehicles. The increase in the number of vehicles causes the concentrations of CO and CO2 exhaust gases in the air to increase.

Cost-utility of adjuvant zoledronic acid in patients with breast cancer and low estrogen levels [PDF]

open access: yes, 2015
BACKGROUND: Adjuvant zoledronic acid (za) appears to improve disease-free survival (dfs) in women with early-stage breast cancer and low levels of estrogen (lle) because of induced or natural menopause.
