The Influence of Ni Content in NixCoy‐BDC Metal‐Organic Frameworks on Catalytic Activity for Hydrogen Generation from Sodium Borohydride

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 11, 15 June 2026.
ABSTRACT Mono‐ and bimetallic Ni/Co‐based metal–organic frameworks (MOFs) coordinated with 1,4‐benzenedicarboxylate were successfully synthesized via a solvothermal approach and characterized by PXRD, FTIR, TGA, SEM–EDS, TEM, BET, and XPS. Fine control over the Ni:Co molar ratio enabled systematic modulation of the structural and electronic properties ...

Electrocatalytic activity of hypo–hyper-d-electrocatalysts (Me/TiO2/MWCNTs) based on Co-Ru in alkaline hydrogen electrolyser

open access: yesMacedonian Journal of Chemistry and Chemical Engineering, 2011
This study is concerned with preparation and characterization of Co-Ru based hypo-hyper d-electrocatalysts aimed for water electrolysis. The composition of the studied electrocatalysts was: 10 % mixed metallic phase (Co : Ru = 1 : 1 wt., Co:Ru = 4 : 1 wt.

The Three Co's to Jointly Model Commodity Markets:Co-Production, Co-Consumption, Co-Trading

open access: yesSSRN Electronic Journal, 2022
AbstractIn this study, we develop a framework, based on a global vector autoregression (GVAR) model, to unite two perspectives on commodity markets, the commodity-specific, single-market-centered approach, investigating the micro- and macroeconomic drivers of commodity prices, and the market perspective, which observes joint movements of commodity ...

Ceria‐Zirconia Supported Gold Nanoparticles for CO and Soot Oxidation

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 9, 14 May 2026.
ABSTRACT This study introduces a gold nanoparticles catalyst (AuNPs) supported on ceria‐zirconia oxide, prepared by deposition‐precipitation (Au/CZ‐dep) and chemical reduction (Au/CZ‐red). The as‐prepared catalysts were tested in CO oxidation by O2 and soot oxidation under different oxidizing atmospheres (O2, NO2+NO+O2).

Fe─Co Synergism in the Heterogeneous Catalytic Conversion of Cyclohexane to KA Oil

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 18, Issue 1, 15 January 2026.
This research aimed to investigate the potential of heterogeneous Fe‐Co catalysts supported on Alumina in the oxidation of cyclohexane to cyclohexanol and cyclohexanone (KA oil). Different catalysts have been synthesized by sol‐immobilization, wetness impregnation and inverse microemulsion, revealing a different catalytic activity and selectivity ...

CO2 Methanation Of Co/CeO2 Prepared by Wetness Impregnation of Co on Flame‐Synthesized CeO2

open access: yesChemCatChem, Volume 17, Issue 17, September 5, 2025.
Tailoring the interaction between cobalt (Co) species and flame‐synthesized cerium oxide (CeO2) influences selectivity in CO and CO2 hydrogenation. The chemical state of Co in catalysts with varying loadings was analyzed. Correlations between chemical state, particle size, and catalytic performance offer insights for designing more selective and stable

Spectroscopic Interrogation of Thiolate Hydrogen Bonding in the CO Sensor Protein CooA: Implications for Thiolate Ligation Stability and Cytochrome P450 Function

open access: yesChemistry – A European Journal, Volume 31, Issue 37, July 2, 2025.
Heme proteins are important biomolecules. Proximal cysteine thiolate ligation is found both in heme enzymes such as cytochromes P450 (CYP) and regulatory proteins such as CooA, a CO sensor. The role of H‐bonding to this cysteine is explored in CooA, including variants, and CYP119 using optical and paramagnetic resonance spectroscopies, which highlight ...

Abnormalities of Hippocampal Subfields in Individuals With Acute Carbon Monoxide Poisoning

open access: yesCNS Neuroscience &Therapeutics, Volume 31, Issue 6, June 2025.
This study investigated the relationship between hippocampal subfield volumes and cognitive impairments in patients with ACMP. We found significant volume reductions in the bilateral CA3, CA4, GC.ML.DG, Moleculat_layer, and right subiculum in ACMP patients.
