Tandem Reactivity of Metal−Carbon and Carbon−Silicon Bonds in Mononuclear α‐Silyl Organolithium or Organosodium Complexes Towards CO, CO2 and Heteroallenes

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 138, Issue 21, 18 May 2026.
Anionic α‐silyl alkyl is one of the most used organometallic building blocks and funtional groups. Traditionally, the C─Si bond in these complexes is considered as inert. In this work, we report a series of reactions between mononuclear organo‐lithium and ‐sodium complexes with CO, CO2, or heteroallenes.

Sea Surface CO Measurements on the R/V ISABU in the Northwestern Pacific in October 2019 [PDF]

open access: yesGeo Data, 2022
The ocean takes up anthropogenic carbon dioxide (CO2) emitted into the atmosphere. The oceanic CO2 uptake shows seasonal and regional differences depending on numerous factors.

Co-Teaching Co-Development Co-Achievement [PDF]

open access: yesEducation Journal, 2016
In the modern learning environment, co-teaching has become critically important in enhancing ability of learners to grasp concepts taught in class. For a very long time, stakeholders in the learning sector have been struggling to find effective pedagogical methods which would ensure that learners of different capabilities are offered equal learning ...

CO2 emissions from cities: Direct flux measurements versus the indirect budget approach

open access: yesMeteorologische Zeitschrift, 2019
Many bigger cities establish climate protection plans by employing emission inventories based on indirect budget approaches. However, the emission fluxes of CO2 from cities can also be directly measured using the eddy covariance technique, which is a ...

Object Co-skeletonization with Co-segmentation [PDF]

open access: yes2017 IEEE Conference on Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR), 2017
Recent advances in the joint processing of images have certainly shown its advantages over the individual processing. Different from the existing works geared towards co-segmentation or co-localization, in this paper, we explore a new joint processing topic: co-skeletonization, which is defined as joint skeleton extraction of common objects in a set of

Assembly of Functionalized Organic Fragments via Reductive Activation and (Cross)‐Coupling of C2H4, CO, CO2 and/or H2 Using a Magnesium‐Dinitrogen Complex

open access: yesAngewandte Chemie, Volume 137, Issue 19, May 5, 2025.
A dimagnesium/dipotassium complex of N2 acts as a “masked” source of a dimagnesium(I) diradical in formal reductive coupling and cross‐coupling reactions involving various combinations of the simple gaseous small molecules, C2H4, CO, CO2, and H2. A range of more complex “value‐added” organic fragments have been accessed from these processes.
