The Effect of Rock Type on CO2 Foam for CO2 EOR and CO2 Storage
International Petroleum Technology Conference, 2023Abstract CO2 foam is an effective method to reduce CO2 mobility and improve displacement efficiency in CO2 enhanced oil recovery (EOR) and CO2 storage applications. Foam strength and stability are key parameters that influence the efficiency of the foam which depend on several factors including the presence of oil, injection velocity and

Intermolecular Potentials for the Systems CO2–CO2 and CO2–N2O
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1952Experimental values of self-diffusion and mutual diffusion coefficients, in the range −78° to 90°C, have been used to determine the intermolecular potentials for the systems CO2–CO2 and CO2–N2O. It has been assumed that a spherically symmetric potential of the form V (r)=4ε[(σ/r)12—(σ/r)6] may be used and that the dynamics of the diffusion process are ...

Reactions of CO2+ and CO2 · CO2 with ethylene. Heat of formation of CO2 · CO3+
International Journal of Mass Spectrometry and Ion Physics, 1980Abstract Rate coefficients and product distributions for the reactions of CO2+ and CO2 · CO2+ with C2H4 were determined in a drift chamber filled with CO2 at 0.3 torr. The rate coefficient are k3 = 0.9 × 10−9 cm3 s−1 for CO2+ and k5 = 1.0 × 10−9 cm3 s−1 for CO2 · CO2+.

Laser induced fluorescence in CO2, (CO2 + 14N2), (CO2 + 15N2) and (CO2 + He)
Chemical Physics Letters, 1972Abstract Vibrational deactivation in CO 2 ( v 3 mode) is studied extensively in CO 2 , CO 2 + 14 N 2 , CO 2 + 15 N 2 and CO 2 + H by use of the laser induced fluorescence technique covering the entire range of concentration (0–100 per cent) in the temperature range 300–500°K.

The vibrational spectra of CO2+, (CO2)2+, CO2−, and (CO2)2− trapped in solid neon
The Journal of Chemical Physics, 1999When a Ne:CO2 mixture is subjected to Penning ionization and/or photoionization by neon atoms in their first excited states, between 16.6 and 16.85 eV, and the products are rapidly frozen at approximately 5 K, the infrared spectrum of the resulting deposit includes absorptions assigned to CO2+, (CO2)2+, CO2−, and (CO2)2−.

Nonlinear Dynamics in Optical Systems, 1990
Numerically we study the five-dimensional dynamical system which describes a laser with saturable absorber. The bifurcation diagrams are plotted for the parameters corresponding to real CO2-laser with CO2 as the saturable absorber. The influence of external noise is investigated.
