CO2 Measurement of Synthetic Biogas by Passing It through Dilute NaOH Solution [PDF]

open access: yesIranian Journal of Chemistry & Chemical Engineering, 2020
The feasibility of measuring CO2 content in biogas was evaluated in this research. Firstly, Curtipot pH simulator was used to visualize the titration behaviors of various percentages of dissolved CO2 in a wide range of concentrations of NaOH solution. As

An osmometric method for measurement of total CO2

open access: yesKidney International, 1975
We describe a rapid and accurate osmometric method for the measurement of total CO21 which is considerably simpler than techniques previously and currently used [1–7].

Spatial reactant distribution in CO2 electrolysis: Balancing CO2 utilization and Faradaic Efficiency

open access: yes, 2021
The production of value added C1 and C2 compounds within CO2 electrolyzers has reached sufficient catalytic performance that system and process performance – such as CO2 utilization – have come more into consideration.

Measuring and modelling CO2 effects on sugarcane

open access: yesEnvironmental Modelling & Software, 2016
AbstractIn order to fully capture the benefits of rising CO2 in adapting agriculture to climate change, we first need to understand how CO2 affects crop growth. Several recent studies reported unexpected increases in sugarcane (C4) yields under elevated CO2, but it is difficult to distinguish direct leaf-level effects of rising CO2 on photosynthesis ...

Operation Strategy of Continuous Gravity Measurement as Complementary to Seismic Survey on Geological CO2 Storage

open access: yesJournal of MMIJ, 2021
Toward the implementation of geological CO2 storage, cost reduction of CO2 monitoring during and after injection into targeted reservoirs is the key issue.

Future atmospheric CO2 leads to delayed autumnal senescence

open access: yes, 2007
Growing seasons are getting longer, a phenomenon partially explained by increasing global temperatures. Recent reports suggest that a strong correlation exists between warming and advances in spring phenology but that a weaker correlation is evident ...

Field Evaluation of Column CO2 Retrievals From Intensity‐Modulated Continuous‐Wave Differential Absorption Lidar Measurements During the ACT‐America Campaign

open access: yesEarth and Space Science, 2020
We present an evaluation of airborne intensity‐modulated continuous‐wave (IM‐CW) lidar measurements of atmospheric column CO2 mole fractions during the Atmospheric Carbon and Transport–America (ACT‐America) project. This lidar system transmits online and

MiReCOL: Developing Corrective Measures for CO2 Storage [PDF]

open access: yesEnergy Procedia, 2014
AbstractCO2 capture, transport and storage (CCS) has the potential to significantly reduce the carbon emission that follows from the use of fossil fuels in power production and industry. Integrated demo-scale projects are currently being developed to demonstrate the feasibility of CCS and the first such projects are expected to start operating in ...

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.

Optofluidic crystallithography for directed growth of single-crystalline halide perovskites

open access: yesNature Communications
Crystallization is a fundamental phenomenon which describes how the atomic building blocks such as atoms and molecules are arranged into ordered or quasi-ordered structure and form solid-state materials.
