High performance composite CO2 separation membranes [PDF]
Abstract The CO 2 permeation of composite membranes obtained by impregnation of molten alkaline carbonates into a Gd-doped ceria ceramic skeleton was tested using several gas mixtures with up to 50 vol% CO 2 as feed gas and Ar in the membrane permeate side.

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.

Crosslinked PES/chitosan membranes with Ni-MAF-6 MOF incorporation for efficient CO2 separation
A novel series of high-performance mixed matrix membranes (MMMs) were engineered by fabricating the Ni-MAF-6 metal-organic framework nanoparticles (5–25 wt%) into polyethersulfone (PES)/chitosan matrix crosslinked with 3-aminopropyltriethoxysilane ...

Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Production of hydrogen by unmixed steam reforming of methane [PDF]
Unmixed steam reforming is an alternative method of catalytic steam reforming that uses separate air and fuel–steam feeds, producing a reformate high in H2 content using a single reactor and a variety of fuels. It claims insensitivity to carbon formation

Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.
