A new screening method of low permeability reservoirs suitable for CO2 flooding

open access: yesPetroleum Exploration and Development, 2015
Since the existing gas flooding reservoir screening criteria lack economic indexes reflecting future dynamic production performances, indexes reflecting economic profits are added into the exiting criteria (related to well oil production rate) to form a ...

Effect of Pretreatment with Sulfuric Acid on Catalytic Hydrocracking of Fe/AC Catalysts

open access: yesJournal of Spectroscopy, 2017
Activated carbon (AC) was modified by H2SO4 and used as a support for catalyst. The Fe2S3/AC-T catalyst was prepared by deposition-precipitation method and used to catalyze hydrocracking of coal-related model compound, di(1-naphthyl)methane (DNM).

Development of an efficient 3AP-DMEA-butanol-water phase change absorbent for CO_2 capture

open access: yes能源环境保护
Controlling CO_2 emissions from low-concentration sources like coal-fired power plants and steel mills is crucial for achieving "carbon neutrality" . Amine-based CO_2 capture technology is a leading contender for industrial application.

A Storage-Driven CO2 EOR for a Net-Zero Emission Target

open access: yesEngineering, 2022
Stabilizing global climate change to within 1.5 °C requires a reduction in greenhouse gas emissions, with a primary focus on carbon dioxide (CO2) emissions.

Structural insights into an engineered feruloyl esterase with improved MHET degrading properties

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
A feruloyl esterase was engineered to mimic key features of MHETase, enhancing the degradation of PET oligomers. Structural and computational analysis reveal how a point mutation stabilizes the active site and reshapes the binding cleft, expading substrate scope.

Transcriptional network analysis of PTEN‐protein‐deficient prostate tumors reveals robust stromal reprogramming and signs of senescent paracrine communication

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Pore-scale numerical simulation of supercritical CO2-brine two-phase flow based on VOF method

open access: yesNatural Gas Industry B, 2023
CO2 capture and storage technology is favorable for the reduction of CO2 emissions. In recent years, a great number of research achievements have been obtained on CO2 geological storage from nano scale to oil/gas reservoir scale, but most studies only ...

Cell surface interactome analysis identifies TSPAN4 as a negative regulator of PD‐L1 in melanoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Using cell surface proximity biotinylation, we identified tetraspanin TSPAN4 within the PD‐L1 interactome of melanoma cells. TSPAN4 negatively regulates PD‐L1 expression and lateral mobility by limiting its interaction with CMTM6 and promoting PD‐L1 degradation.

Storing CO2 as solid hydrate in shallow aquifers: Electrical resistivity measurements in hydrate-bearing sandstone [PDF]

open access: yesE3S Web of Conferences, 2020
A recent proposed carbon dioxide (CO2) storage scheme suggests solid CO2 hydrate formation at the base of the hydrate stability zone to facilitate safe, long-term storage of anthropogenic CO2.

PARP inhibition and pharmacological ascorbate demonstrate synergy in castration‐resistant prostate cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Pharmacologic ascorbate (vitamin C) increases ROS, disrupts cellular metabolism, and induces DNA damage in CRPC cells. These effects sensitize tumors to PARP inhibition, producing synergistic growth suppression with olaparib in vitro and significantly delayed tumor progression in vivo. Pyruvate rescue confirms ROS‐dependent activity.
