Injectable 2D‐MoS2‐integrated Bioadhesive Hydrogel as Photothermal‐Derived and Drug‐Delivery Implant for Colorectal Cancer Therapy

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
An injectable, adhesive hydrogel integrating 2D‐MoS2 and 5‐fluorouracil (AlgNB/MoS2/5‐FU) is developed for near‐infrared‐triggered photothermal therapy and localized drug delivery. The adhesive hydrogel demonstrates superior tumor anchoring, efficient photothermal conversion, and synergistic inhibition of colorectal cancer progression, offering a ...

Spatial coagulation with bounded coagulation rate [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2010
We prove that the spatial coagulation equation with bounded coagulation rate is well-posed for all times in a given class of kernels if the convection term of the underlying particle dynamics has divergence bounded below by a positive constant. Multiple coagulations, fragmentation and scattering are also considered.

Biofunctionalization of ADA‐GEL Hydrogels Based on the Degree of Cross‐Linking and Polymer Concentration Improves Angiogenesis

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
The biocompatibility of alginate dialdehyde (ADA) and gelatin (GEL) hydrogels cross‐linked with human transglutaminase (hTG) is demonstrated in vivo with a high degree of stability and angiogenic potential. The additional enzymatic cross‐linker hTG and the increased concentration improve stability and angiogenic potential. The X‐ray microscopy (XRM) is

ALMA and CARMA observations of Brown Dwarfs disks: testing the models of dust evolution [PDF]

open access: yesarXiv, 2013
The first steps toward planet formation involve the coagulation of small microscopic grains into larger and larger pebbles and rocks in gas-rich disks around young stars and brown dwarfs. Observations in the sub-millimeter can trace mm/cm-sized pebbles in the outer disks, and investigate the mechanisms of coagulation/fragmentation and radial migration ...

Self‐Healing Hydrogel Dressing with Solubilized Flavonoids for Whole Layer Regeneration of Diabetic Wound

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
High glucose‐ and acid‐responsive hydrogel with dynamic covalent bond solubilized with flavonoids (Gel‐Flavonoids) is designed for diabetic wound healing. The Gel‐Flavonoids adapt to irregular wound shapes and release antioxidants in high‐glucose environments, effectively reducing reactive oxygen species.

Viscoelastic blood coagulation testing system enabled by a non‐contact triboelectric angle sensor

open access: yesExploration
Thromboelastography (TEG) remains a convenient and effective viscoelastic blood coagulation testing device for guiding blood component transfusion and assessing the risk of thrombosis. Here, a TEG enabled by a non‐contact triboelectric angle sensor (NTAS)

Designing for Degradation: Transient Devices Enabled by (Nano)Cellulose

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Recent progress in transient devices enabled by (nano)cellulosic materials is reviewed. Transiency mechanisms, advantages of nanocelluloses, and a suite of applications are discussed. A circular thinking approach coupled with life cycle assessment is applied to critically revisit the potential, advantages, and challenges of nanocellulose‐enabled ...

Design of Apoptotic Cell-Inspired Particles as a Blood Coagulation Test

open access: yesBiomimetics
The blood coagulation test is an indispensable test for monitoring the blood coagulation and fibrinolysis functions. Currently, activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT) is the most widely used approach to coagulation testing.
