Damage Characteristics and Stress Distribution Law of Overburden Rock in Multiple Mining of Close Coal Seams

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
This study on close coal seams shows that multi‐seam mining increases the height of the fractured zone from approximately 26 m (single upper‐seam mining) to about 49 m. When the lower seam is mined after the extraction of the upper seam, the heights of both the caved zone and the fractured zone increase by approximately two times.

Study on Fluid Pressure in Tubing, Dynamic Stress in Reservoir, and Fracture Propagation Morphology During Variable‐Rate Hydraulic Fracturing

open access: yesEnergy Science &Engineering, EarlyView.
Variable‐rate hydraulic fracturing can induce unsteady flow in the tubing, thereby generating fluctuating fluid pressure near the bottom‐hole reservoir. Dynamic stress is generated in the reservoir under the action of fluctuating fluid pressure and propagates as stress waves.

Integrated pressure relief technology for rock burst and gas outburst coordinated control in ultra-thick coal seams under spatially isolated rock pillar areas [PDF]

open access: yes
With the increasing depth of coal mining and the complexity of mining technical conditions, some mines are facing dual dynamic disasters of rock burst and coal and gas outburst, which exhibits a mutually coupled inducing trend.

Several key issues and insights in full-scale proppant-support fracturing for deep coal rock gas formations

open access: yesMeitan xuebao
Our country has abundant coal rock gas resources. Hydraulic fracturing is a key technology for effectively developing coal rock gas reservoirs. Due to the differences in the mechanical properties, microstructure, gas occurrence states, and productivity ...

Combustion Properties of Timber in Historic Structures: Case Study of the São Pedro de Alcântara Chapel Fire

open access: yesFire and Materials, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Timber plays a fundamental role in the fire performance of historic building components, where ageing and environmental exposure can markedly influence its physical and chemical properties. This study presents an experimental investigation of the fire behaviour of Ocotea sp.

Conjecture about mechanism of butterfly-shape coal and gas outburst in excavation roadway

open access: yes矿业科学学报, 2017
Referring to roadway butterfly shape rock burst mechanism and nonlinear dynamic system theory, a conjecture about butterfly-shape coal and gas outburst mechanism in excavation roadway has been made, In this conjecture, the mechanical essence of coal and ...

Pore and fracture evolution characteristics and gas desorption law of coal-rock combination body under impact loading

open access: yesMeitan xuebao
The probability of occurrence of compound dynamic disaster triggered by impact ground pressure and gas protrusion in deep coal seams is greater. In order to investigate the desorption law of coal-rock assemblage under different impact loads, the pore and

Mango Seed Valorization: Sustainable Source of Nutrients, Bioactives, and Value‐Added Applications

open access: yesFood Chemistry International, EarlyView.
Highlighting mango seed as a valuable yet overlooked by‐product, promoting its utilization and reducing agroindustrial waste. ABSTRACT Mango (Mangifera indica L.) is one of the most widely cultivated tropical fruits, generating large quantities of by‐products during processing, with mango seed representing 20%–25% of the whole fruit weight ...
