Study on the diffusion and migration law of CO2 sequestrated in abandoned coal mine goaf
The goaf of an abandoned coal mine, endowed with expansive fracture spaces and an abundance of residual coal, can be capable of sequestrating substantial quantities of CO2. The residual coal is the principal medium for the sequestration of CO2 in the form of adsorption and the amount of sequestration is considerable.

PAH in the laboratory and interstellar space [PDF]
The theory that polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons (PAHs) are a constituent of the interstellar medium, and a source of the IR emission bands at 3.3, 6.2, 7.7, 8.6, and 11.3 microns is being studied using PAH containing acid insoluble residue of the ...

Comparation Study of the Use Naftalena from Coal Tar Waste with Camper Napthtalene as Concrete Admixture [PDF]
Concrete is a mixture of Portland cement or other hydraulic cement, fine aggregate, coarse aggregate, and water, with or without additives (admixture). The naphthalene superplasticizer used comes from distillation of coal tar and a little from the rest ...

Strain‐based modeling and analysis for rock blasting and geomechanics applications
This paper introduces a novel strain‐based modeling approach for blasting and geomechanical applications, using measurable variables like particle velocity, strain, and displacement. By bypassing complex constitutive relations, strain‐based models capture critical blasting trends and full‐blast design parameters with minimal calibration.

Tri‐axial compressive behavior of high‐water material for deep underground spaces
The relationship between the mechanical behavior and microstructures of the laterally confined high‐water material associated with water bleeding was established. Abstract Attributed to its superior water‐to‐solid ratio and quick setting time, the high‐water material is widely adopted in underground spaces as a cost‐effective and environmentally ...
