A Fuzzy Owen function on games with coalition structure and fuzzy coalitions

Journal of Intelligent & Fuzzy Systems, 2017
In this paper, a game with coalition structure and fuzzy coalitions is introduced, which can be regarded as an extension of the game with coalition structure. Firstly, an Owen function is defined. Then, the unique explicit form of the Owen function is given by extending the Owen value.

Robust Coalition Structure Generation

2018
How to form effective coalitions is an important issue in multi-agent systems. Coalition Structure Generation (\(\mathsf {CSG}\)) involves partitioning a set of agents into coalitions so that the social surplus (i.e. the sum of the rewards obtained by each coalition) is maximized.

Union values for games with coalition structure

Decision Support Systems, 2014
In a cooperative transferable utility game each decision-making agent is usually represented by one player. We model a situation where a decision-making agent can be represented by more than one player by a game with coalition structure where, besides the game, there is a partition of the player set into several unions.

A note on fuzzy coalition structures

Fuzzy Sets and Systems, 2010
This paper points out an error in M. Mares (Fuzzy coalition structures, Fuzzy Sets and Systems 114 (2000) 23-33), and gives two modified definitions to improve the model of fuzzy cooperative game.

Bargaining for Coalition Structure Formation

2014
Many multiagent settings require a collection of agents to partition themselves into coalitions. In such cases, the agents may have conflicting preferences over the possible coalition structures that may form. We investigate a noncooperative bargaining game to allow the agents to resolve such conflicts and partition themselves into non-overlapping ...

Coalition Formation in Structured Environments

International Joint Conference on Autonomous Agents and Multiagent Systems, 2017
We study coalition formation games in which cooperation among the players is restricted by some combinatorial structures. We investigate the existence and computational issues related to stable outcomes in such games. In particular, we show that acyclicity is often sufficient for several notions of stability.

Coalition Structure Generation with GRASP

2010
The coalition structure generation problem represents an active research area in multi-agent systems. A coalition structure is defined as a partition of the agents involved in a system into disjoint coalitions. The problem of finding the optimal coalition structure is NP-complete.
