Computational Complexity in Additive Hedonic Games [PDF]
We investigate the computational complexity of several decision problems in hedonic coalition formation games and demonstrate that attaining stability in such games remains NP-hard even when they are additive.

In this article, we study a problem of dynamic task allocation with multiple agent responsibilities in distributed multi-agent systems. Agents in the research have two responsibilities, communication and task execution.

A Theory of Endogenous Coalition Structures [PDF]
Consider an environment with widespread externalities, and suppose that binding agreements can be written. We study coalition formation in such a setting. Our analysis proceeds by defining on a partition function an extensive-form bargaining game. We establish the existence of a stationary subgame perfect equilibrium for such a game.

Voting behavior, coalitions and government strength through a complex network analysis. [PDF]
We analyze the network of relations between parliament members according to their voting behavior. In particular, we examine the emergent community structure with respect to political coalitions and government alliances. We rely on tools developed in the

Anytime coalition structure generation: an average case study [PDF]
Coalition formation is a key topic in multiagent systems. One would prefer a coalition structure that maxim izes the sum of the values of the coalitions, but often the number of coalition structures is too large to allow for exhaustive search for the optimal one.

Power Indices with Threats in Precoalitions
We investigate power indices for simple games with precoalitions which distribute power among players in an external and an internal step. We extend an existing approach which uses the Public Good index both on the external level in the quotient game as ...

Sequentially Distributed Coalition Formation Game for Throughput Maximization in C-RANs [PDF]
Cloud radio access network (C-RAN) has been proposed as a solution to reducing the huge cost of network upgrade while providing the spectral and energy efficiency needed for the new generation cellular networks.
