Coaxial beam-diagnostic probe

The performance of the coaxial beam probe is improved by correct termination with the characteristic impedance of the coaxial probe. Test results are presented with 30 keV electron bunches at 50 x 10/sup 7/ pps. (WHK) Three methods devised for ripple elimination in the power supply of the 7-GeV proton synchrotron Nimrod are described.

A coaxial probe feed model for FDTD

AbstractA new FDTD model for a coaxial probe feed based on transmission lines is proposed. Both the metal probe and a material boundary at the transmission line to FDTD interface are accurately modeled. Comparisons with experimental data indicate a significant improvement compared with a previously published transmission‐line feed model.

Coaxial probe modeling in waveguides and cavities

Modeling, design, and sensitivity analysis of probe-excited cavities are presented. The three-cavity-moment method is used to obtain the two-port scattering matrix of the probe-excited semi-infinite waveguide while a novel equivalent circuit is introduced and used as a circuit model for the scattering matrix.

Conformal antennas with coaxial probe feed

The article presents analysis of the impact of cylindrical antennas radius of curvature on their basic parameters and characteristics of radiation. For the selected frequency range there was designed planar and cylindrical microstrip antenna with coaxial feed. For conformal surface radius length was varied in the range 0.2 – 50 Λ0.

Analysis of coaxial mounting and probe structures

An efficient full-wave spectral domain analysis based on the integral equation method is developed for coaxial mounting and probe structure of a general form. Using this method, the algorithm for the complex input gap impedance of such structures has been derived and the calculated data are presented.
