Stereochemistry enables control of ion‐exchange membrane properties via local backbone flexibility without altering the polymer composition. Syn‐enriched membranes show higher water uptake and improved water‐electrolysis performance, whereas anti‐enriched membranes exhibit higher hydration efficiency and improved mechanical properties.

A room‐temperature vanadium cation exchange strategy is developed to achieve simultaneous structural reconstruction and electronic/defect modulation of ZIF‐67 on nickel foam. The resulting mesoporous V20–Co(OH)2 electrode exhibits superior OER activity with low overpotentials and enhanced lattice oxygen participation.

The role of Cobalt-60 in modern radiation therapy: Dose delivery and image guidance
The advances in modern radiation therapy with techniques such as intensity-modulated radiation therapy and image-guid-ed radiation therapy (IMRT and IGRT) have been limited almost exclusively to linear accel-erators.

Gap‐Free Information Transfer in 4D‐STEM via Fusion of Complementary Scattering Channels
Fused Full‐Field STEM (FF‐STEM) is introduced as a 4D‐STEM imaging modality that combines direct ptychography with tilt‐corrected dark‐field reconstruction in a single acquisition. Fourier‐space fusion using Wiener‐type spectral weighting closes the low‐frequency contrast gap inherent to bright‐field methods, delivering gap‐free, dose‐efficient, near ...

Criteria for controlling occupational exposure to cobalt [PDF]
"The toxic effects of cobalt (7440484) and the extent of occupational exposures are reviewed in a NIOSH criteria document. The health effects of cobalt exposure on workers in various industries are described, and the findings of various experimental ...

Precipitation of nickel and cobalt sulphides using different reactor configurations [PDF]
The nickel reduction process produces a stream containing unreacted dissolved nickel and cobalt. Removal of these metals to optimum levels is desired, however, the product should also be easy to handle and the process easy to incorporate into the current

This study reports D34 as the first PROTAC degrader that targets the 3C protease of picornaviruses. D34 effectively degrades EV71 3C protease via the ubiquitin‐proteasome pathway. More importantly, D34 exhibits a high resistance barrier and shows broad‐spectrum antiviral activity against multiple picornaviruses, highlighting its potential as a novel ...

Black Hole Quencher‐Enhanced Plasmonic Photothermal Conversion
Researchers have developed a universal method to boost plasmonic photothermal conversion by attaching black hole quencher (BHQ) molecules to matched metal nanostructures. This hybrid approach increases efficiency by roughly threefold, reaching up to 69.1% in the near‐infrared‐II window.
