Controlling the Redox Chemistry of Cobalt Radiopharmaceuticals. [PDF]
The elementally matched 55Co (PET imaging)/58mCo (therapy) radioisotope pair is suitable for tandem diagnostic/therapeutic radiopharmaceuticals. Modulation of the Co2+/3+ redox couple is facile in mild oxidative conditions compatible with radiopharmaceutical synthesis, including radiolysis by the isotope's endogenous decay properties.

Effects of X-Ray Irradiation on the Biological Parameters, Gut Microbiota, and Gene Expression of Bactrocera dorsalis: Implications for the Sterile Insect Technique. [PDF]
ABSTRACT The sterile insect technique (SIT), traditionally reliant on gamma irradiation, has been an effective strategy for controlling Bactrocera dorsalis. However, strict regulations governing gamma radiation sources and the limited research on the responses of B. dorsalis to X‐ray irradiation have hindered the further development of SIT.

Assessment of long-lived residual radioisotopes in cement induced by neutron radiation [PDF]
During the decommissioning of nuclear power plants, a significant amount of cement based composites should be disposed as radioactive waste. The use of material with low-activation constituents could effectively reduce radioactivity of concrete.

Radioisotopes «economy of promises» : on the limits of biomedicine in public legitimization of nuclear activities [PDF]
This paper aims to examine the rise and the fall of biomedicine in the public legitimization of the development of nuclear energy. Until the late 1950s, biological and medical applications of radioisotopes were presented as the most important successes ...

Isotopes in hydrology and hydrogeology [PDF]
The structure, status, and processes of the groundwater system, which can only be acquired through scientific research efforts, are critical aspects of water resource management. Isotope hydrology and hydrogeology is a genuinely interdisciplinary science.

Sorption of cobalt to bone char: Kinetics, competitive sorption and mechanism [PDF]
Swine bone char is the combustion residues of swine bone. Cobalt adsorption to swine bone char was studied. Batch kinetics studies showed that a rapid uptake occurred during the first 5 min and was followed with a very slow intraparticle diffusion ...

SISTEM STERILISASI BAKTERI Vibrio harveyi MENGGUNAKAN RADIOISOTOP COBALT-60 UNTUK BUDIDAYA UDANG
