A Triatomic Cobalt Catalyst for Oxygen Electrocatalysis

Angewandte Chemie
AbstractThe advancement of rechargeable zinc–air batteries significantly depends on bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysts to provide outstanding oxygen reduction/evolution reaction (ORR/OER) performance. However, it is still challenging to design electrocatalysts with excellent bifunctional activity and stability.

Cobalt Oxide Catalysts for Environmental Remediation

Current Catalysis, 2014
Energy processing and fuel combustion processes generate large volumes of CO, NOx, SO2, and volatile organic compounds (VOCs). These pollutants may pollute the air and water, thus doing harm to humans, animals, plants, and buildings. Heterogeneous catalysis plays an

Cobalt-support compound formation in titania-supported cobalt catalysts

Co-support compound formation (Co-SCF) in Co/TiO[subscript 2] was found during standard reduction resulting in a lower reducibility of the catalyst. The compound formed is considered to be non-reducible at temperatures < 800 ํC during TPR and different from CoTiO[subscript 3].
