Combined synthesis and hydroprocessing on a cobalt catalyst on a cobalt-containing zeolite catalyst

open access: yesProceedings of the Voronezh State University of Engineering Technologies, 2019
A composite Co-Al2O3/SiO2/HZSM-5 catalyst has been developed for one-step synthesis of fuel series hydrocarbons from CO and H2. The catalyst was obtained by mixing and forming powders with a Co-Al2O3/SiO2 catalyst, zeolite HZSM-5, and boehmite Al(O)OH?H2O.

The genesis of supported cobalt catalysts [PDF]

open access: yesApplied Petrochemical Research, 2016
The general objectives of this research were to investigate the effect of the support and the gas atmosphere on the decomposition and reduction of cobalt nitrate hexahydrate supported on silica and alumina to gain a greater understanding of the calcination and reduction procedures used in catalyst manufacturing processes. The decomposition was followed

Balancing Electrons to Break the Activity‐Selectivity Trade‐Off in H2O2 Electrosynthesis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Carrier‐concentration balancing in CuS is achieved by coupling cobalt dopants with cobalt vacancies, converting CuS from p‐ to n‐type to accelerate 2e− ORR while withdrawing excess carriers to optimize *OOH binding for H2O2 desorption. The catalyst reaches 8.14 mol g−1 h−1 with >84% selectivity in 1.0 M KOH and drives robust electro‐Fenton dye ...

Magnetothermal‐Triggered Response and Self‐Healing of Recyclable and Reprocessable Nanocomposites for Actuation Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Developing recyclable materials for magnetic robotics that combine rapid response and self‐healing properties is challenging. Hence, this study focuses on the integration of magnetothermal nanoparticles into a dynamic sorbitol‐based vitrimer, a recyclable composite capable of remote actuation and self‐healing by magnetic heating.

Continuous catalytic decomposition of methane [PDF]

open access: yes, 1973
Water is conserved by employing sequence of reactions whereby 75 percent of methane from Sabatier reaction is decomposed to solid carbon and hydrogen; hydrogen is then separated from residual methane and utilized in usual Sabatier reaction to reduce ...

Rapid Water Reduction to H_2 Catalyzed by a Cobalt Bis(iminopyridine) Complex [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
A cobalt bis(iminopyridine) complex is a highly active electrocatalyst for water reduction, with an estimated apparent second order rate constant k_(app) ≤ 10^7 M^(–1)s^(–1) over a range of buffer/salt concentrations.
