Phase Diagrams Enable Solid‐State Battery Design
Batteries are non‐equilibrium devices with inherent thermodynamic driving forces to react at interfaces, regardless of kinetics or operating conditions. Chemical potential mismatches across interfaces are dissipated via interfacial reactions. In this work, it is illustrated how phase diagrams and chemical potential maps predict degradation pathways but

Electrochemistry of 2,2'-Bipyridine Complexes of Cobalt in the Presence of Acrylonitrile [PDF]
The previously claimed (1) catalysis of the electroreduction of acrylonitrile by means of a complex of Co(I) and 2,2′‐bipyridine is shown to be erroneous. The “catalytic currents” result instead from the two‐electron reduction of a mixed complex of Co(I)

ABSTRACT This research focused on characterizing graphitic carbon nitride (g‐C3N4) nanocomposites incorporated with ZnO and Ag2O nanoparticles, and carrageenan to remove heavy metals. The ZnO/Ag2O@ g‐C3N4 and ZnO/Ag2O/g‐C3N4@Carr nanocomposites demonstrated thermal stability of 97.40% (108.81°C) and 82.80% (188.99°C) for TGA.

Limits on stable iron in Type$\,$Ia supernovae from NIR spectroscopy
We obtained optical and near-infrared spectra of Type$\,$Ia supernovae (SNe$\,$Ia) at epochs ranging from 224 to 496 days after the explosion. The spectra show emission lines from forbidden transitions of singly ionised iron and cobalt atoms. We used non-
