η3-Allyl-cobalt (II) complexes
Inorganica Chimica Acta, 1998Abstract ( η 3 -Cyclooctenyl)Co(bisphosphine) compounds react with HBF 4 in the presence of alkenes with oxidation of the metal to give the novel, paramagnetic organocobalt(II) species [( η 3 -cyclooctenyl)Co(bisphosphine)] + BF 4 − , ( η 3 -2-RC 3 H 4 )Co(bisphosphine) complexes react similarly. The Co(II) compounds form adducts with CO and NO (

Catalytic oxidations using cobalt(II) complexes
ChemInform, 2003The reactivity of cobalt(II) complexes toward dioxygen has long been recognized. Synthetic oxygen carriers reversibly form mononuclear superoxo and dinuclear μ-peroxo complexes. The bound O2 can be removed by pumping or flushing with an inert gas and this cycle can be repeated many times over.

Cobalt(II) complexes of creatinine
Transition Metal Chemistry, 1984Cobalt(II) complexes of creatinine [Co(creat)2X2] (X = Cl, Br, I or NCS) and [Co(creat)2X2(H2O)2] (X = HCO2, HOCH2CO2 or CNCH2CO2) have been prepared. Their i.r. spectra show an increase in ν(NH) of the cyclic secondary amine group, compared to free ligand (3300 cm−1), indicating that cyclic nitrogen is involved in coordination.

Polarographic study on cobalt(II)-acetate and cobalt(II)-propionate complexes
Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1971Abstract The formation constants of the systems cobalt(II)-acetate and cobalt(II)-propionate have been measured at 25 and 50°C, ionic strength 1·0 and pH 5·0, using the ion-indicator polarographic method with slight modifications. The method was tested by measuring the constants of the cobalt(II)-acetate system at 25°C by a pH method.

Abstract A number of nickel(II), cobalt(II) and mixed cobalt(II)-cobalt(III) derivatives of the trianionic binucleating ligand (L3−) derived from 2-hydroxy-5-methylisophthalaldehyde di-2′-hydroxynnil (LH3) have structures based on a tetranuclear [LM2(X)]2 core where X− = OH− or OR−.

D-galactosamine complexes with copper(II), nickel(II), and cobalt(II)
Journal of Inorganic Biochemistry, 1988The potentiometric and spectroscopic methods were applied to describe the equilibria for the Cu(II), Ni(II), and Co(II), D-galactosamine solutions. The stability constants, the spectral data, and the results obtained earlier precisely defined the binding ability of the aminosugars.

Oxygenation of cobalt(II) complexes
Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1973Abstract The mechanism and the thermodynamic and kinetic factors of the oxygenation of cobalt(II) complexes are discussed based on data available to date. It is shown that the essential features of the oxygenation of cobalt(II) complexes are explicable with the mechanisms to be proposed. Some other pertinent points such as misconception regarding the

Isoxazole complexes. Complexes with copper(II), cobalt(II), nickel(II) and cadmium(II)
Journal of Inorganic and Nuclear Chemistry, 1974Abstract The preparation, spectral and magnetic properties of the complexes of copper(II), nickel(II), cobalt(II) and cadmium(II) with isoxazole are reported. Most of these compounds have distorted octahedral structures, whereas some, viz.: [Cu isox Cl 2 ] and [Co isox Br 2 ] are tetrahedral.
