Aviation Education Impacts on Cockpit Culture of Chinese Student Pilots
The safety of the aviation industry heavily depends on the performance of pilots. A pilot with a good cockpit culture improves safety performance. However, a lack of understanding of how a well-established aviation program impacts student pilots’ cockpit

Pilots’ Performance and Workload Assessment: Transition from Analogue to Glass-Cockpit
During their professional career, pilots often experience a change in workplace conditions in the form of an aircraft cockpit ergonomics change. Change of working conditions may impact their perception of flight data or the pilot’s psychophysiological ...

A Biosourced and Self‐Healable Polymer Electrolyte for Potassium Batteries
A biosourced lignin‐filled gel polymer electrolyte combines suppressed crystallinity, high ionic conductivity, and UPy‐driven self‐healing for potassium batteries. The optimized formulation sustains long‐term cycling with 97.5% capacity retention after 1000 cycles and preserves electrochemical operation after intentional membrane damage.

The Feasibility Test of Electric Propulsion Systems: Case Study for a Light and Fixed‐Wing Aircraft
ABSTRACT This study investigates the feasibility and performance of a fully electric propulsion system (EPS) integrated into a light fixed‐wing aircraft. The system consists of a 65 kW‐class electric motor, a high‐efficiency inverter, and dual lithium‐ion battery packs with a total capacity of 27 kWh—collectively engineered to fulfill both power ...

Flight Training Success in Technologically Advanced Aircraft (TAA) [PDF]
The introduction of glass cockpit aircraft to general aviation has received great interest from researchers over the past few years. However, little information is available on the actual effects of this transition on training syllabus completion.

Searching for coherence in a correspondence world
In this paper, I trace the evolution of the aircraft cockpit as an example of the transformation of a probabilistic environment into an ecological hybrid, that is, an environment characterized by both probabilistic and deterministic features and elements.
