Optimum conditions for carbonisation of coconut shell

The optimum conditions that are useful in the carbonization of coconut shell have been examined. The carbonization was effected using particle sizes (150 – 2000μm) at carbonization temperatures between 200 and 900C in a laboratory muffle furnace.
