The tightness of security reductions in code-based cryptography

2011 IEEE Information Theory Workshop, 2011
Code-based cryptography allows the construction of primitives with various functionalities. Those designs are in general secure and possess no undesirable features that cannot be corrected by a proper choice of parameters and a careful implementation (i.e. semantically secure conversion).

Code-based cryptography [PDF]

open access: possible, 2018
As the threat of building quantum computers which would break most of the used ciphers increases, so does the interest in an alternative solution. In the first part of this thesis, we consider Goppa codes which are error-correcting codes used in some post-quantum cryptosystems.

Implementation of McEliece Algorithm in Code-Based Cryptography

Jurnal Teknik Indonesia
The McEliece algorithm is an asymmetric cryptosystem based on error-correcting codes, relying on the complexity of the syndrome decoding problem for its security. This study discusses the implementation of the McEliece algorithm using the Hamming(7,4) code in the encryption and decryption process of binary messages.

An Introduction to Code Based Cryptography

2013
Code-based cryptography is among the most attractive post-quantum cryptographic techniques. It allows the construction of the most important cryptographic primitives (encryption, signature, zero-knowledge, hashing...) often with efficient implementations. In addition, their security is very well understood. The purpose of this course is to examine some
