Incoherent optical code division multiple access systems

Proceedings of ISSSTA'95 International Symposium on Spread Spectrum Techniques and Applications, 2002
Classical code division multiple access (CDMA) principles can be translated to the optical domain, resulting in all-optical derivatives of electronic systems. There are a number of ways of realising an all-optical CDMA system, classified as incoherent, coherent and approaches based on encoding in the frequency spectrum.

Tandem Spreading Network-Coded Division Multiple Access

IEEE Transactions on Industrial Informatics, 2017
Massive machine-type communication (MMTC) is the key technology to meet the flourishing Internet of things industry. One prominent characteristic of MMTC is massive connections which brings a critical challenge of multiple access interference (MAI) on channel estimation, user identification, and data detection.

Scale-time-code-division multiple access (STCDMA)

Proceedings of the 1996 Tactical Communications Conference. Ensuring Joint Force Superiority in the Information Age, 2002
In this work, a wavelet-based multiple access system, STCDMA (scale-time-code-division multiple access), which is based on the scale, time, and code orthogonality has been described and its performance has been analyzed for synchronous transmission in an AWGN channel.

Code Division Multiple Access (CDMA)

2018
This chapter presents a brief overview of spread spectrum technique and shows how it relates to CDMA technology. Orthogonal codes and their properties are presented and show how orthogonal codes are generated and used to design CDMA radio. It is shown that CDMA capacity directly relates to code length.

Optical Code Division Multiple Access

2014
A comprehensive guide to optical fiber communications, from the basic principles to the latest developments in OCDMA for Next-Generation Fiber-to-the-Home (FTTH) systems. Part I starts off with the fundamentals of light propagation in optical fibers, including multiple access protocols, and their enabling techniques.

Code division multiple access networks

1985
This chapter discusses code division multiple access networks. The spread spectrum code division multiple access techniques requires the construction of spreading codes giving rise to a minimum of interlink interference. However, situations arise where the effects of interlink interference are amplified owing to operational considerations.
