Breast cancer remains a major cause of cancer death in women, frequently developing endocrine therapy resistance. This study demonstrates that upregulated p21‐activated kinase 1 (PAK1) activity drives resistance to tamoxifen and long‐term estrogen deprivation in ER+ breast cancer models.

On the equivalence of codes and codes with an automorphism having two cycles
This paper presents results giving sufficient conditions under which two codes are equivalent. This technique has been applied to certain binary quasicyclic codes. Self-dual codes of length 2r or \(2r+2\) over arbitrary fields having an automorphism of prime order r have also been examined. This study has further been used to construct and to count the

BCL9 and BCL9L drive bladder cancer progression by enhancing β‐catenin signaling, promoting proliferation, migration, invasion, and organoid growth. Genetic depletion of BCL9(L) suppresses malignant phenotypes, while pharmacological disruption of the β‐catenin/BCL9(L) complex with ZW4864 inhibits canonical Wnt signaling and tumor‐associated cellular ...

Cytosolically synthesized chloroplast preproteins are translocated across the outer and inner envelope membranes through translocons called TOC and TIC, respectively. In green algae and plants, the TIC core is composed of essential membrane proteins, Tic12, Tic20, and Tic214.

Evolutionarily divergent DUF4465 domains have a common vitamin B12‐binding function
We show that DUF4465 family proteins, widespread across bacteria from gut microbiomes, hydrothermal vents, and soil, share a common vitamin B12‐binding function. These augmented β‐jellyroll proteins bind vitamin B12 via extended loops. Our findings establish sequence‐diverse DUF4465 proteins as a widespread class of B12‐binding proteins, highlighting ...

Weak Instances of the Inverse Matrix Code Equivalence Problem [PDF]
Nowadays, the Matrix Code Equivalence Problem shows potential applicability in constructing efficient and secure advanced digital signatures, focusing on linkable ring signatures, threshold signatures, and blind signatures. Current constructions of these

Activation of the mitochondrial protein OXR1 increases pSyn129 αSynuclein aggregation by lowering ATP levels and altering mitochondrial membrane potential, particularly in response to MSA‐derived fibrils. In contrast, ablation of the ER protein EMC4 enhances autophagic flux and lysosomal clearance, broadly reducing α‐synuclein aggregates.

Proving Termination via Measure Transfer in Equivalence Checking [PDF]
Program verification can benefit from proofs with varied induction schemas. A natural class of induction schemas, functional induction, consists of those derived from definitions of functions.
