Hardware-Encoding Grid States in a Nonreciprocal Superconducting Circuit
We present a circuit design composed of two Josephson junctions coupled by a nonreciprocal element, the gyrator, whose ground space is doubly degenerate. The ground states are approximate code words of the Gottesman-Kitaev-Preskill code. We determine the

Here, we demonstrate that HS1BP3 interacts with Cortactin through a proline‐rich region (PRR3.1) and show that this interaction, and HS1BP3 itself, promote cancer cell proliferation and invasion. Inhibition of this interaction leads to build‐up of TKS5 in multivesicular endosomes and altered secretion of CD63 and CD9, providing an explanation for the ...

Algebraic Approach for Code Equivalence [PDF]

Universal Fault-Tolerant Quantum Computation in 2D without Getting Tied in Knots
We show how to perform scalable fault-tolerant non-Clifford gates in two dimensions by introducing domain walls between the surface code and a non-Abelian topological code whose code space is stabilized by Clifford operators. We formulate a path-integral

Numerical Implementation and validation of turbulent premixed combustion model for lean mixtures
The present paper discusses the numerical investigation of turbulent premixed flames under lean conditions. Lean premixed combustion, a low NOx emission technique but are prone to instabilities, extinction and blow out.

Finding novel vulnerabilities of hypomorphic BRCA1 alleles
Synthetic lethality screens performed to identify novel vulnerabilities often model complete gene loss, thereby overlooking patient‐derived hypomorphic mutations. In this study, we have performed genome‐wide CRISPR screens on BRCA1 hypomorphic mutations, showing BRCA1I26A behaves like wild‐type, while BRCA1R1699Q mimics deficiency. Furthermore, we have

On the equivalence of codes over rings and modules
One of the foundational results of algebraic coding theory is the MacWilliams equivalence theorem. Wood has generalized this result to show that for finite Frobenius rings a generalization of the result holds. Determining what the class of rings to which the theorem will generalize remains an open question. The authors define a ring to be a MacWilliams

MITF maintains genome stability in nonmelanocyte lineages
MITF is essential for melanocyte survival and acts as an oncogene in 10%–20% of melanomas. We show that MITF depletion causes genome instability in nonmelanocytic cells, leading to LATS2‐mediated P53 activation, cell cycle arrest, and apoptosis. This study highlights the role of MITF as a genome maintenance factor beyond the melanocyte lineage. Created
