Efficient Proofs of Retrievability Using Expander Codes
Proofs of Retrievability (PoR) protocols ensure that a client can fully retrieve a large outsourced file from an untrusted server. Good PoRs should have low communication complexity, small storage overhead and clear security guarantees. We design a good PoR based on a family of graph codes called expander codes.

C2B: A Semantic Source Code Retrieval Model Using CodeT5 and Bi-LSTM
To enhance the software implementation process, developers frequently leverage preexisting code snippets by exploring an extensive codebase. Existing code search tools often rely on keyword- or syntactic-based methods and struggle to fully grasp the ...

Histopathological Image Retrieval Based on Asymmetric Residual Hash and DNA Coding
Histopathological image retrieval is a key technology for computer-aided diagnosis. However, patients are reluctant to reveal their privacy in histopathological image retrieval.

Binary, shortened projective reed muller codes for coded private information retrieval [PDF]
The notion of a Private Information Retrieval (PIR) code was recently introduced by Fazeli, Vardy and Yaakobi who showed that this class of codes permit PIR at reduced levels of storage overhead in comparison with replicated-server PIR. In the present paper, the construction of an $(n,k)$ $ $-server binary, linear PIR code having parameters $n = \sum ...

Deep Hashing Based Fusing Index Method for Large-Scale Image Retrieval
Hashing has been widely deployed to perform the Approximate Nearest Neighbor (ANN) search for the large-scale image retrieval to solve the problem of storage and retrieval efficiency.

Sparse-Coded Features for Image Retrieval [PDF]
The bag-of-features(BOF) image representation [7] is popular in largescale image retrieval. With BOF, the memory to store the inverted index file and the search complexity are both approximately linearly increased with the number of images. To address the retrieval efficiency and the memory constraint problem, besides some improvement work based on BOF,

EvoR: Evolving Retrieval for Code Generation
Recently the retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) has been successfully applied in code generation. However, existing pipelines for retrieval-augmented code generation (RACG) employ static knowledge bases with a single source, limiting the adaptation capabilities of Large Language Models (LLMs) to domains they have insufficient knowledge of.

Combining PTEN protein assessment and transcriptomic profiling of prostate tumors, we uncovered a network enriched in senescence and extracellular matrix (ECM) programs associated with PTEN loss and conserved in a mouse model. We show that PTEN‐deficient cells trigger paracrine remodeling of the surrounding stroma and this information could help ...

Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...
