Stopping Sets of Algebraic Geometry Codes [PDF]
Stopping sets and stopping set distribution of a linear code play an important role in the performance analysis of iterative decoding for this linear code. Let $C$ be an $[n,k]$ linear code over $\f$ with parity-check matrix $H$, where the rows of $H$ may be dependent. Let $[n]=\{1,2,...,n\}$ denote the set of column indices of $H$.

Determination of ADP/ATP translocase isoform ratios in malignancy and cellular senescence
The individual functions of three isoforms exchanging ADP and ATP (ADP/ATP translocases; ANTs) on the mitochondrial membrane remain unclear. We developed a method for quantitatively differentiating highly similar human ANT1, ANT2, and ANT3 using parallel reaction monitoring. This method allowed us to assess changes in translocase levels during cellular

Landscape of BRAF transcript variants in human cancer
We investigate the annotation of BRAF variants, focusing on protein‐coding BRAF‐220 (formerly BRAF‐reference) and BRAF‐204 (BRAF‐X1). The IsoWorm pipeline allows us to quantify these variants in human cancer, starting from RNA‐sequencing data. BRAF‐204 is more abundant than BRAF‐220 and impacts patient survival.

Optimization of the Manufacturing Process of Natural Fibre Thermoplastic Composites in order to Minimize Warpage [PDF]
In this study, the effective factors on warpage in short fibre reinforced thermoplastic composites has been studied. First of all, the effective factors in manufacturing process were detected and then in order to decrease the number of experiments, the ...

Design of Quantum Stabilizer Codes From Quadratic Residues Sets [PDF]
We propose two types, namely Type-I and Type-II, quantum stabilizer codes using quadratic residue sets of prime modulus given by the form $p=4n\pm1$. The proposed Type-I stabilizer codes are of cyclic structure and code length $N=p$. They are constructed based on multi-weight circulant matrix generated from idempotent polynomial, which is obtained from

This study identifies nuclear YB‐1 S102 phosphorylation as a marker associated with KRAS and FBXW7 mutations in colorectal cancer. Mutated KRAS correlates specifically with nuclear, not cytoplasmic, S102 YB‐1. These findings provide the first ex vivo evidence of this link in CRC and suggest future studies should assess the prognostic and therapeutic ...

Information sets from defining sets in abelian codes [PDF]
We describe a technique to construct a set of check positions (and hence an information set) for every abelian code solely in terms of its defining set. This generalizes that given by Imai in \cite{Imai} in the case of binary TDC codes.

Liver‐specific knockout of N6‐methyladenosine (m6A) methyltransferase METTL3 significantly accelerated hepatic tumor initiation under various oncogenic challenges, contrary to the previously reported oncogenic role of METTL3 in liver cancer cell lines or xenograft models. Mechanistically, METTL3 deficiency reduced m6A deposition on Manf transcripts and

Full Characterization of Minimal Linear Codes as Cutting Blocking Sets [PDF]
In this paper, we first study in detail the relationship between minimal linear codes and cutting blocking sets, which were recently introduced by Bonini and Borello, and then completely characterize minimal linear codes as cutting blocking sets. As a direct result, minimal projective codes of dimension $3$ and $t$-fold blocking sets with $t\ge 2$ in ...
