Finite-SNR analysis for partial relaying cooperation with channel coding and opportunistic relay selection

open access: yesEURASIP Journal on Advances in Signal Processing, 2017
This work studies the performance of a cooperative network which consists of two channel-coded sources, multiple relays, and one destination. To achieve high spectral efficiency, we assume that a single time slot is dedicated to relaying.

Gapless Superconductivity From Extremely Dilute Magnetic Disorder in 2H‐NbSe2‐xSx

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
We demonstrate that 2H‐NbSe2‐xSx hosts gapless superconductivity at unexpectedly low magnetic impurity concentrations. Combining STM, Bogoliubovde Gennes simulations, DFT, and quasiparticle interference, we comprehensively study the development of gapless behavior and show that SeS substitution reshapes the band structure, enhances nesting, and drives ...

Distributed GRS‐coded differential spatial modulation for half‐duplex cooperative network based on relay optimization and joint decoding

open access: yesIET Communications
To ensure the reliable transmission with increased spectral efficiency of the small information block, this article proposes the novel distributed generalized Reed‐Solomon coded differential spatial modulation (DGRSC‐DSM) scheme in the relay cooperation ...

Inverse Design of Amorphous Materials With Targeted Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
AMDEN is a diffusion model framework for the inverse design of amorphous materials with targeted properties. By incorporating Hamiltonian Monte Carlo refinement into the denoising process, the framework overcomes the challenge of generating thermally relaxed disordered structures.

Switchable Magnonic Crystals Based on Spin Crossover/CrSBr Heterostructures

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
Multiscale modeling is employed to investigate the functionality of a light‐controlled, tunable magnonic crystal based on spin‐crossover Fe‐pz molecules integrated with a monolayer of CrSBr. Ab initio simulations confirm that the molecules remain functional on the CrSBr surface, while a semiclassical elastic model demonstrates that light‐induced ...

A Dual‐Bioresponsive and Programmable Microneedle Matrix as a Bioinspired Coupler for Orchestrating Diabetic Bone Regeneration

open access: yesAdvanced Materials, EarlyView.
This project developed a smart bandage‐like patch (a microneedle array) for repairing diabetic bone damage. It intelligently senses signals from infection and inflammation, then releases its medicines in a specific, timed sequence: first an antibacterial agent, then an anti‐inflammatory agent, and finally growth factors.
