ABSTRACT In pediatric patients, T‐cell lymphoblastic lymphoma (T‐LBL) survival exceeds 80%. Relapse remains associated with limited curative options. Frontline treatment is largely extrapolated from T‐cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (T‐ALL) treatment, reflecting the ongoing debate, whether both entities represent distinct diseases or variants within ...

Application of Constacyclic codes to Quantum MDS Codes
Quantum maximal-distance-separable (MDS) codes form an important class of quantum codes. To get $q$-ary quantum MDS codes, it suffices to find linear MDS codes $C$ over $\mathbb{F}_{q^2}$ satisfying $C^{\perp_H}\subseteq C$ by the Hermitian construction ...

ABSTRACT Background Sickle cell disease (SCD) is a chronic, inherited hemoglobinopathy that requires frequent hospitalization for disease‐related complications. Canadian data on inpatient care is limited. This study compared caregiver‐reported hospital experiences of children with SCD to those with cystic fibrosis (CF), a chronic, autosomal recessive ...

On coding morphisms for zigzag codes [PDF]
Summary: We are dealing with the zigzag codes in connection with monoid morphisms and free group morphisms. The injectivity of free group morphisms plays here the role of that of free monoid morphisms for ordinary codes. Subsets of free group words describing behaviours of zigzag factorizations allows us to characterize zigzag codes in different ways ...

ABSTRACT Background Children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) are at risk of severe outcomes from SARS‐CoV‐2 (SCV2). In the post‐pandemic context, where most children have been infected with SCV2, there are limited data on whether vaccination remains beneficial in children with ALL.

Some designs and codes from L_2(q) [PDF]
For $q \in \{7,8,9,11,13,16\}$, we consider the primitive actions of $L_2(q)$ and use Key-Moori Method 1 as described in [Codes, designs and graphs from the Janko groups {$J_1$} and {$J_2$}, {\em J. Combin. Math. Combin.

Kalmyk Official Writing, 17th-19th Centuries: Genre Diversity Revisited
Introduction. The Kalmyks are one of the few peoples in Russia to have developed a script system of their own centuries ago. Spiritual culture of the ethnos can be traced in numerous original and translated texts of philosophical treatises, medical ...

We introduce a self-learning algorithm for synthesizing programs for OEIS sequences. The algorithm starts from scratch initially generating programs at random. Then it runs many iterations of a self-learning loop that interleaves (i) training neural machine translation to learn the correspondence between sequences and the programs discovered so far ...

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
