Self-dual cyclic codes over finite chain rings [PDF]
Let $R$ be a finite commutative chain ring with unique maximal ideal $\langle \gamma\rangle$, and let $n$ be a positive integer coprime with the characteristic of $R/\langle \gamma\rangle$. In this paper, the algebraic structure of cyclic codes of length

Cyclic Codes over Some Finite Rings
In this paper cyclic codes are established with respect to the Mannheim metric over some finite rings by using Gaussian integers and the decoding algorithm for these codes is given.

Structure and Enumeration of Constacyclic Codes over Cube-Zero Local Rings of Order q5
We investigate λ-constacyclic codes of length n over finite commutative local rings R of characteristic p and order q5, where q=pm is an odd prime power, whose Jacobson radical N satisfies N3=0≠N2, under the coprimality condition gcd(n,p)=1.

MDS Self-Dual Codes and Antiorthogonal Matrices over Galois Rings
In this study, we explore maximum distance separable (MDS) self-dual codes over Galois rings G R ( p m , r ) with p ≡ − 1 ( mod 4 ) and odd r.

Codes over an algebra over ring
In this paper, we consider some structures of linear codes over the ring $\mathcal{R}_k=R[v_1,\dots,v_k],$ where $v_i^2=v_i$ forall $i=1,\dots,k),$ and $R$ is a finite commutative Frobenius ring.

Protein pyrophosphorylation by inositol pyrophosphates — detection, function, and regulation
Protein pyrophosphorylation is an unusual signaling mechanism that was discovered two decades ago. It can be driven by inositol pyrophosphate messengers and influences various cellular processes. Herein, we summarize the research progress and challenges of this field, covering pathways found to be regulated by this posttranslational modification as ...

The newfound relationship between extrachromosomal DNAs and excised signal circles
Extrachromosomal DNAs (ecDNAs) contribute to the progression of many human cancers. In addition, circular DNA by‐products of V(D)J recombination, excised signal circles (ESCs), have roles in cancer progression but have largely been overlooked. In this Review, we explore the roles of ecDNAs and ESCs in cancer development, and highlight why these ...

QUADRATIC RESIDUE CODES OVER GALOIS RINGS
Summary: Quadratic residue codes are cyclic codes of prime length \(n\) defined over a finite field \(\mathbb F_{p^e}\), where \(p^e\) is a quadratic residue \(bmod n\). They comprise a very important family of codes. In this article we introduce the generalization of quadratic residue codes defined over Galois rings using the Galois theory.

This study reveals how the mitochondrial protein Slm35 is regulated in Saccharomyces cerevisiae. The authors identify stress‐responsive DNA elements and two upstream open reading frames (uORFs) in the 5′ untranslated region of SLM35. One uORF restricts translation, and its mutation increases Slm35 protein levels and mitophagy.
