Multifractal analysis of some multiple ergodic averages for the systems with non-constant Lyapunov exponents [PDF]
We study certain multiple ergodic averages of an iterated functions system generated by two contractions on the unit interval. By using the dynamical coding ${0,1}^{\mathbb{N}}$ of the attractor, we compute the Hausdorff dimension of the set of points ...

Entanglement-assisted communication of classical and quantum information [PDF]
We consider the problem of transmitting classical and quantum information reliably over an entanglement-assisted quantum channel. Our main result is a capacity theorem that gives a three-dimensional achievable rate region.

Biomolecular condensates formed by fused in sarcoma (FUS) are dissolved by high ATP concentrations yet persist in cells. Using a reconstituted system, we demonstrate that valosin‐containing protein (VCP), an AAA+ ATPase, counteracts ATP‐driven dissolution of FUS condensates through its D2 ATPase activity.

Every day, we experience new episodes and store new memories. Although memories are stored in corresponding engram cells, how different sets of engram cells are selected for current and next episodes, and how they create their memories, remains unclear ...

Diversity and complexity in neural organoids
Neural organoid research aims to expand genetic diversity on one side and increase tissue complexity on the other. Chimeroids integrate multiple donor genomes within single organoids. Self‐organising multi‐identity organoids, exogenous cell seeding, or enforced assembly of region‐specific organoids contribute to tissue complexity.

β-Hydroxybutyrate (β-OHB), the primary ketone body, is a bioactive metabolite that acts as both an energy substrate and a signaling molecule. Recent studies found that β-OHB inhibits the production of pro-inflammatory cytokines in macrophages, but its ...

Tumors contain diverse cellular states whose behavior is shaped by context‐dependent gene coordination. By comparing gene–gene relationships across biological contexts, we identify adaptive transcriptional modules that reorganize into distinct vulnerability axes.

UNIT-DISTANCE CODES ENUMERATION

Glioma cells mainly express the endothelin receptor EDNRB, while EDNRA is restricted to a perivascular tumor subpopulation. Endothelin signaling reduces glioma cell proliferation while promoting migration and a proneural‐to‐mesenchymal transition associated with poor prognosis. This pathway activates Ca2+, K+, ERK, and STAT3 signalings and is regulated

A Computation Complexity Reduction of the Size Decision Algorithm in 3D-HEVC Depth Map Intracoding
A new video format called a multiview video plus depth map is recently designed as the most efficient 3D video representation. 3D-high efficiency video coding (3D-HEVC) is the international standard for 3D video coding finalized in 2016.
