Comparison of H-inf and Coefficient Diagram Method in Aerospace

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2004
Abstract The longitudinal control of the fighter with dual control surfaces is a typical MIMO control problem, where various modern control design techniques are employed. Although Coefficient Diagram Method (CDM) is proven effective in SISO or SIMO control design, the concrete procedure for MIMO design is not established yet.

Autopilot design for a missile with reaction-jet using coefficient diagram method

AIAA Guidance, Navigation, and Control Conference and Exhibit, 2001
Advanced guidance missiles employ blended control of aero-fin and reaction-jet to improve the guidance performance against highly maneuverable targets. The blended control requires multiple inputs and multiple outputs (MIMO) control system design, the design process is much complex than that of conventional aero-fin autopilot.

CASE STUDIES OF COEFFICIEANT DIAGRAM METHOD – PRACTICAL POLYNOMIAL DESIGN APPROACHES

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2005
Abstract Coefficient Diagram Method (CDM) is one of polynomial methods in control design. Its design effectiveness mainly stems from the usage of a diagram called Coefficient Diagram. Coefficient diagram shows the coefficients of characteristics polynomial and those of numerator polynomials corresponding to sensitivity and auxiliary sensitivity ...

Polynomial Control for Air-to-Air Missiles Based on Coefficient Diagram Methods

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2013
Abstract Based on Coefficient Diagram Methods (CDMs), a polynomial-control scheme for air-to-air missiles is proposed. According to the analysis of CDM-based polynomial control theory and missile dynamics, two overload-loop controllers with different structures for air-to-air missiles are designed. First, the structure and order of the controller and

Robustness Teaching By Inverted Pendulum Designed by Coefficient Diagram Method

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 2010
Abstract Inverted pendulum is very effective tool in control education. A low cost inverted pendulum was presented in ACE94 (Manabe, 1994). This system was later presented in several workshops in various universities, and several students wrote master's thesis on the subject.

The method to generate generalized Reed-Muller coefficients over GF(2) using decision diagram

Proceedings of IEEE. IEEE Region 10 Conference. TENCON 99. 'Multimedia Technology for Asia-Pacific Information Infrastructure' (Cat. No.99CH37030), 2003
The authors propose a method to produce GRM expansions for n variables that have 2/sup n/ possible polarities over GF(2). In general, the method for deriving GRM coefficients is to search for the transformation matrix to a single variable and then Kronecker product n times.

Coefficient Diagram Method as Applied to the Attitude Control of Controlled-Bias-Momentum Satellite

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1994
A controller design method, called Coefficient Diagram Method (CDM), is introduced. By this method the designer can design the characteristic polynomial of the closed loop system efficiently taking a good balance of stability, response, and robustness.
