Heat Capacity, Conductivity, and the Thermal Coefficient of Expansion
2018Heat capacity depends on the initial and final states, and on the path of the transition between them. The heat capacity of the powder is approximately that of natural diamond in the 500-700K temperature range. The peculiarities of diamond film structure make it worthwhile to separate them into two conventional classes: the thin films and the thick ...

Indirect measurement of the heat conductivity and specific heat coefficients of homogeneous fluid
Heat and Mass Transfer, 1996The coefficients of heat conductivityk and of specific heatc p have been determined as parameters of a system of differential equations of balance and boundary conditions. The values of the coefficientsk andc p are obtained by solving the inverse convection problem.

On the coefficient inverse problem of heat conduction in a degenerating domain
AIP Conference Proceedings, 2018In the paper we consider a coefficient inverse problem for the heat equation in a degenerating angular domain. It has been shown that the inverse problem for the homogeneous heat equation with homogeneous initial and boundary conditions has a nontrivial solution up to a constant factor consistent with the integral condition.

Heat transfer coefficients and thermal conductivity of cold liquids
International Journal of Heat and Mass Transfer, 1969Abstract A method for measuring the thermal conductivity of a low temperature liquid and the heat-transfer coefficient between a freezing ice sphere and the low temperature liquid is presented. The calculations are based on equating the quantity of heat liberated by a freezing ice sphere to the amount of heat that crosses the ice-“mold” interface. By

On the solution of nonstationary heat-conduction problems with variable heat-transfer coefficient
Journal of engineering physics, 1971The article describes an exact method for calculating the temperature field in solids when they are heated in a medium with a variable heat-transfer coefficient and a nonuniform initial temperature distribution.
