Coercive force and stability of SmCo5 and GdCo5

Journal of the Less Common Metals, 1972
Abstract At low temperatures the compounds GdCo5 and SmCo5 decompose into the corresponding phases R2Co7 and R2Co17. This transformation is connected with the dependence of the coercive force of powder compacts on sintering temperature.

Stability of domain patterns and domain wall coercivity

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 1984
Abstract The stability of demagnetized stripe domain patterns of epitaxial magnetic garnets with respect to applied field pulses has been observed to be strongly dependent on the magnetic history of the sample. The highest stability with regard to irreversible changes of the wall positions has been measured after the demagnetization by a slowly ...

STABILITY OF THE SOLUTION SET OF NON-COERCIVE VARIATIONAL INEQUALITIES

Communications in Contemporary Mathematics, 2002
In this paper, we study the stability of the solution set of a non-coercive variational inequality with respect to small perturbations of the data involved in the problem. This research is done using well-known tools of convex analysis and the concept of well-positioned convex sets (which is defined and studied).

Dynamic coercivity and thermal stability of epitaxial exchange spring trilayers

Journal of Magnetism and Magnetic Materials, 2010
Abstract Exchange-coupled hard/soft magnetic nanocomposites have recently found a renewed interest in data-storage application as exchange spring media, also named exchange-coupled composite (ECC). Developed formerly to improve the energy density of a hard magnetic material by an intimate, direct exchange coupling to a soft magnetic phase with high ...

Novel equiaxed magnetite media with high coercivity and thermal stability

Journal of Applied Physics, 1992
Equiaxed magnetite media with coercivity of up to 1560 Oe, saturation and residual magnetizations of up to 83 and 50 emu/g, respectively, and squareness ratio of up to 0.61 have been developed by the modification of Mn and Co, and by proper annealings.

Growth and stability of highly coercive, highly textured NdFeB films

Digest of INTERMAG 2003. International Magnetics Conference (Cat. No.03CH37401), 2004
In this paper, for the thin film growth, we first examine the conditions necessary to obtain highly coercive, highly textured NdFeB films and then examine the stability of these films as this will be a crucial feature for the application of rare-earth magnets as thin films.

Coercivity and thermal stability enhancement of NdFeB magnet by grain boundary diffusion Tb80Al20 alloys

Intermetallics, 2021
Abstract Grain boundary diffusion of Tb and Al elements can improve the coercivity and optimize grain boundary of NdFeB magnets. In this paper, we investigated magnetic property and microstructure evolution of sintered NdFeB magnets by grain boundary diffusion Tb80Al20 alloys.

Improvement of coercivity thermal stability of sintered 2:17 SmCo permanent magnet by Nd doping

Chinese Physics B, 2023
The effects of Nd doping on the microstructures and magnetic properties of Sm1–x Nd x (Co0.695Fe0.2Cu0.08Zr0.025)7.2 (x = 0, 0.3, 0.5, 0.7, 1.0) permanent magnets are studied. The scanning electron microscope (SEM) analysis of the solid solution states of the magnets shows that with the increase

A non-coercive Lyapunov framework for stability of distributed parameter systems

2017 IEEE 56th Annual Conference on Decision and Control (CDC), 2017
We show that the existence of a non-coercive Lyapunov function is sufficient for uniform global asymptotic stability (UGAS) of infinite-dimensional systems with external disturbances provided the speed of decay is measured in terms of the norm of the state and an additional mild assumption is satisfied. These additional assumptions cannot be dropped in
