Investigation of Ferrimagnetic Sr-hexaferrite Nanocrystals for Clinical Hyperthermia

open access: yesMedžiagotyra, 2021
Sr-hexaferrite samples were produced via the conventional ceramic method. X-ray diffractometry (XRD) patterns confirmed the single nanocrystal phase as Sr-hexaferrite where any pattern peaks of unreacted Fe2O3 phase were  not detected.

Inverted Hysteresis Loops in the Fe73.5Cu1Nb3Si13.5B9 Alloy With Small Coercivity

open access: yesFrontiers in Materials, 2021
The phenomenon of inverted hysteresis loop has been observed in many materials for the past decades. However, the physical origin of the inverted hysteresis loop has long been debated.

CoFe2O4 bulk, nanoparticles and layer: A comparison of structural, magnetic, and optical properties [PDF]

open access: yesProgress in Physics of Applied Materials, 2022
The structural characteristics of materials change with the reduction of dimensions, and they show different behaviors compared to the corresponding bulk sample. To study these changes, in this research, we investigated the effect of size and preparation

Investigating Exchange Bias and Coercivity in Fe3O4–γ-Fe2O3 Core–Shell Nanoparticles of Fixed Core Diameter and Variable Shell Thicknesses

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2017
We have carried out extensive measurements on novel Fe3O4–γ-Fe2O3 core–shell nanoparticles of nearly similar core diameter (8 nm) and of various shell thicknesses of 1 nm (sample S1), 3 nm (sample S2), and 5 nm (sample S3).

Temperature dependence of the magnetization processes in Co/Al oxide/Permalloy trilayers

open access: yes, 2000
The magnetization process of Co/Al oxide/Py trilayers and its evolution with the temperature have been analyzed. The particular behavior of the Co layers, including the shift of the hysteresis loops and a coercivity increase with the decrease of ...

High performance hot-deformed Nd-Fe-B magnets (Review)

open access: yesScience and Technology of Advanced Materials, 2021
Hot-deformed anisotropic Nd-Fe-B magnets may potentially attain high coercivity due to their fine and highly orientated crystal grain microstructure as a result of the unique production process that creates these magnets.

Exchange Bias in Nanostructures: An Update

open access: yesNanomaterials, 2023
Exchange bias (EB) is a unidirectional anisotropy occurring in exchange-coupled ferromagnetic/antiferromagnetic systems, such as thin films, core–shell particles, or nanostructures.
