Fe–Pt films prepared from plating baths containing glycine as a complexing agent

open access: yesAIP Advances
We have reported Fe–Pt films with hard magnetic properties electroplated from plating baths using citric acid as a complexing agent. The present study focuses on glycine as a new complexing agent instead of citric acid.

Exploration of the Reduction Diffusion Temperature for Different Phases of Samarium–Cobalt Magnetic Particles

open access: yesMolecules
We report a method for synthesizing different phases of samarium–cobalt particles through microwave-assisted combustion combined with high-temperature reduction and diffusion, and identify the optimal temperature for forming the 1:5 phase using this ...

Recent advances in SmFe12-based permanent magnets

open access: yesScience and Technology of Advanced Materials, 2021
To realize a sustainable society, ‘green technology’ with low (or even zero) CO2 emissions is required. A key material in such technology is a permanent magnet because it is utilized for electric-power conversion in several applications including ...

Coercivity and Exchange Bias in Ti-Doped Maghemite Nanoparticles

open access: yesMagnetochemistry, 2022
Ti-doped maghemite nanoparticles of average crystallite size 12.9 nm were synthesized using the sol–gel method. The XRD profile mainly showed the presence of maghemite phase with very small phases of TiO2 (rutile and anatase).

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

Global weak solutions to degenerate coupled transport processes in partially saturated deformable elastic-inelastic porous media

open access: yesElectronic Journal of Differential Equations, 2020
In this work we prove the existence of global weak solutions to a degenerate and strongly coupled parabolic system arising from the transport processes through partially saturated deformable porous materials.

Atomistic theory of thermally activated magnetization processes in Nd2Fe14B permanent magnet

open access: yesScience and Technology of Advanced Materials, 2021
To study the temperature dependence of magnetic properties of permanent magnets, methods of treating the thermal fluctuation causing the thermal activation phenomena must be established.

PTA-Welded Coatings with Saturation Magnetization above 1.3 T Using FeCrBSi Powders with Chemical Composition Similar to AISI 430 Ferrite Stainless Steel

open access: yesMagnetochemistry, 2023
Fe-Cr-based soft magnetic alloy (SMA) monolayer coatings with high saturation magnetization (Ms) above 1.3 T were deposited onto AISI 1010 substrate by co-axial powder feeding plasma transferred arc (PTA) welding, using FeCrBSi self-fluxing powders Fe313,

Development of a Three‐Axis Planar Hall Magnetoresistance Sensor Using a Superparamagnetic Nanoparticle‐Based Flux Guide

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A printed superparamagnetic nanoparticle‐based flux guide enables the realization of a hysteresis‐free three‐axis magnetic sensor. This innovative architecture efficiently redirects out‐of‐plane fields to planar sensing elements, facilitating simultaneous vector detection without complex reset protocols.

Progress of HDDR NdFeB powders modulated by the diffusion of low melting point elements and their alloys

open access: yes上海师范大学学报. 自然科学版, 2017
The hydrogenation-disproportionation-desorption-recombination (HDDR) process is the main technique for the fabrication of anisotropic NdFeB magnetic powder. But the intrinsic coercivity (HC) of HDDR magnetic powder is low.The addition of heavy rare earth ...
