Progress of HDDR NdFeB powders modulated by the diffusion of low melting point elements and their alloys

open access: yes上海师范大学学报. 自然科学版, 2017
The hydrogenation-disproportionation-desorption-recombination (HDDR) process is the main technique for the fabrication of anisotropic NdFeB magnetic powder. But the intrinsic coercivity (HC) of HDDR magnetic powder is low.The addition of heavy rare earth ...

Magnetisation reversal mechanism in Co-Cr media for perpendicular magnetic recording [PDF]

open access: yes, 1997
In this study Co---Cr thin films with perpendicular anisotropy are investigated. Three films with values for Hc of 11, 90 and 170 kA/m have been selected for this paper.

Emergent Spin‐Glass Behavior in an Iron(II)‐Based Metal–Organic Framework Glass

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A one‐pot, solvent‐free synthesis yields an Fe2+‐based metal‐organic framework (MOF) glass featuring a continuous random network structure. The material exhibits spin‐glass freezing at 14 K, driven by topological‐disorder and short‐range magnetic frustration, showcasing the potential of MOF glasses as a plattform for cooperative magnetic phenomena in ...

Slight Truncation Changes in Iron Oxide Nanocubes Strongly Affect Their Magnetic Properties

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Subtle variations in nanoparticle morphology can lead to significant changes in functional properties. An automated shape‐fitting method captures minor differences in corner truncation between iron oxide nanocubes of similar sizes synthesized under identical conditions, revealing pronounced disparities in their magnetic and hyperthermia behavior ...

Co-rich cobalt platinum nanowire arrays: effects of annealing [PDF]

open access: yes, 2005
The effects of annealing on the crystal structure and magnetic properties of Co-rich cobalt platinum nanowire arrays embedded in anodic aluminium oxide membranes have been investigated. For this purpose, a rapid thermal annealing to temperatures of 300 &#

2D Magnetic and Topological Quantum Materials and Devices for Ultralow Power Spintronics

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
2D magnets and topological quantum materials enable ultralow‐power spintronics by combining robust magnetic order with symmetry‐protected, Berry‐curvature‐driven transport. Fundamentals of 2D anisotropy and spin‐orbit‐coupling induced band inversion are linked to scalable growth and vdW stacking.

The Impact of Ho Addition on the Microstructural Features and Magnetic Performances of Sintered NdFeB Magnets

open access: yesMagnetochemistry
Two NdFeB magnets with distinct compositions were fabricated via an identical process. One magnet was doped with 2.5 wt.% of Ho, whereas the other remained undoped.

Magnetothermal‐Triggered Response and Self‐Healing of Recyclable and Reprocessable Nanocomposites for Actuation Systems

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Developing recyclable materials for magnetic robotics that combine rapid response and self‐healing properties is challenging. Hence, this study focuses on the integration of magnetothermal nanoparticles into a dynamic sorbitol‐based vitrimer, a recyclable composite capable of remote actuation and self‐healing by magnetic heating.
