Plecstatin inhibits hepatocellular carcinoma tumorigenesis and invasion through cytolinker plectin

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
The ruthenium‐based metallodrug plecstatin exerts its anticancer effect in hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC) primarily through selective targeting of plectin. By disrupting plectin‐mediated cytoskeletal organization, plecstatin inhibits anchorage‐dependent growth, cell polarization, and tumor cell dissemination.

Unambiguous State Discrimination with Intrinsic Coherence

open access: yesEntropy, 2021
We investigate the discrimination of pure-mixed (quantum filtering) and mixed-mixed states and compare their optimal success probability with the one for discriminating other pairs of pure states superposed by the vectors included in the mixed states. We

Dynamics of quantum coherence in Bell-diagonal states under Markovian channels

open access: yes, 2019
We study the curves of coherence for the Bell-diagonal states including $l_{1}$-norm of coherence and relative entropy of coherence under the Markovian channels in the first subsystem once.

Control of mutual phase locking of monolithically integrated semiconductor lasers [PDF]

open access: yes, 1983
The mutual coherence of two coupled semiconductor lasers is investigated experimentally. It is demonstrated that by varying the gain in the overlap region, the degree of phase coherence can be continuously controlled. The quantitative characterization of

Infrared laser sampling of low volumes combined with shotgun lipidomics reveals lipid markers in palatine tonsil carcinoma

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Nanosecond infrared laser (NIRL) low‐volume sampling combined with shotgun lipidomics uncovers distinct lipidome alterations in oropharyngeal squamous cell carcinoma (OPSCC) of the palatine tonsil. Several lipid species consistently differentiate tumor from healthy tissue, highlighting their potential as diagnostic markers.

Aprendizagem de procedimentos e efeitos ansiolíticos: medidas eletrencefalográficas, motora e atencional Procedural learning and anxiolytic effects: electroencephalographic, motor and attentional measures

Modal Analysis of Pseudo-Schell Model Sources

open access: yesPhotonics, 2021
All pseudo-Schell model sources have been shown to possess the same continuous set of circularly symmetric modes, all of them presenting a conical wavefront.

Extracting quantum coherence via steering

open access: yes, 2016
As the precious resource for quantum information processing, quantum coherence can be created remotely if the involved two sites are quantum correlated.

Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 increases metastatic potential and aggressiveness in colorectal cancer

open access: yesMolecular Oncology, EarlyView.
Aldehyde dehydrogenase 1A1 (ALDH1A1) is a cancer stem cell marker in several malignancies. We established a novel epithelial cell line from rectal adenocarcinoma with unique overexpression of this enzyme. Genetic attenuation of ALDH1A1 led to increased invasive capacity and metastatic potential, the inhibition of proliferation activity, and ultimately ...

Analysis of Biomolecular Changes in HeLa Cervical Cancer Cell Line Induced by Interaction with [Pd(dach)Cl2]

open access: yesInorganics
Transition metal complexes have been used in medicine for several decades, but their intracellular effects are not yet fully elucidated. Therefore, in this study, we investigate biomolecular changes induced by a palladium(II) complex in cervical ...
