Transition metal complexes have been used in medicine for several decades, but their intracellular effects are not yet fully elucidated. Therefore, in this study, we investigate biomolecular changes induced by a palladium(II) complex in cervical ...

Mapping Canopy Height and Growing Stock Volume Using Airborne Lidar, ALOS PALSAR and Landsat ETM+
We have investigated for forest plantations in Chile the stand-level retrieval of canopy height (CH) and growing stock volume (GSV) using Airborne Laser Scanner (ALS), ALOS PALSAR and Landsat.

The study of non-equilibrium quantum dynamics has recently received attention. However, the nature and effects of non-equilibrium, such as detailed-balance breaking and the relationship to the underlying intrinsic geometry, is still unclear.

The strength of a person’s beliefs can be measured by the buying and selling prices they offer on contingent promissory notes. Consider a promissory note contingent on a proposition; it pays off one unit of money if the proposition is true and nothing ...

Measure-Independent Freezing of Quantum Coherence
We find that all measures of coherence are frozen for an initial state in a strictly incoherent channel if and only if the relative entropy of coherence is frozen for the state.

We investigate in detail a recently introduced “coherent averaging scheme” in terms of its usefulness for achieving Heisenberg limited sensitivity in the measurement of different parameters. In the scheme, N quantum probes in a product state interact with a quantum bus.

Time after time – circadian clocks through the lens of oscillator theory
Oscillator theory bridges physics and circadian biology. Damped oscillators require external drivers, while limit cycles emerge from delayed feedback and nonlinearities. Coupling enables tissue‐level coherence, and entrainment aligns internal clocks with environmental cues.

Amending coherence-breaking channels via unitary operations
The coherence-breaking channels play a significant role in quantum information theory. We study the coherence-breaking channels and give a method to amend the coherence-breaking channels by applying unitary operations. For given incoherent channel $\Phi$,

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Reorganization of the Brain and Heart Rhythm During Autogenic Meditation
The underlying changes in heart coherence that are associated with reported EEG changes in response to meditation have been explored. We measured EEG and heart rate variability (HRV) before and during autogenic meditation.
